Through his junior season, the guard posted 8.2 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.3 steals per game. The forward continues to develop his handle, showing flashes of attacking from outside the arc and getting to the rim. The 6' guard has quick instincts reading the floor while in the halfcourt. He is more than capable getting downhill off the curl or stepping into the triple should his nearest defender stay low. Carlson took some tough step-back jumpers from beyond the arc this season, a potential sign of his offensive upside. At roughly 6' tall, the guard plays with a fast pace that keeps the opponents on their toes. Foster's go-to is the jumper, knocking down 40% of triples this season, coming from a variety of situations.
