The HYB Raptors Has Players:

The HYB Raptors have plenty of kids on this year’s roster that are currently still looking for a college situation next fall. Justice Johnson Justice Johnson 6'5" | SF Banner County | 2028 State NE , Marques Smith Marques Smith 6'2" | CG Richland Northeast | 2023 State SC , Jaydyn Sowell Jaydyn Sowell 5'8" | PG Central (Pageland) | 2023 State SC , Shib Brown Shib Brown 5'11" | SG Lower Richland | 2023 State SC and forward Isaiah Thomas Isaiah Thomas 6'7" | PF Central Pageland | 2023 State SC . These five young men have been playing it seems every weekend since the Grassroots season started in March. Plenty of recruitable players here on the Raptors.

Fountain Inn Kings Duo:

Chavis Lee-Carter Chavis Lee-Carter 6'8" | PF Hillcrest | 2023 State SC and Nykel Franklin Nykel Franklin 6'3" | SF Wade Hampton | 2023 State SC both were leading their respective team this past weekend in Rock Hill. Chavis is a long and rangy forward who seems to block anything around the cup. He runs the floor fine and can step-out at times to keep defenders honest with a short jump shot. Lee-Carter will look to entertain junior college options for next fall.

Franklin is a left-handed wing player who plays his best basketball going to the cup in attack mode. Nykel is a streaky shooter and seems to be most effective from 15 feet in. He looks to play aggressive all game long while staying active on both ends of the floor.

Some Other Notables Still Looking:

Vincent Alexander Vincent Alexander 6'1" | SF Clover | 2023 State SC attends Clover HS in the Upstate. Alexander had his Team Hustle in the win column a couple times on Friday night. Alexander has a good build to him and really likes to compete on both ends of the floor with his competitive attitude.

TJ Hardy TJ Hardy 6'0" | CG Bull City Prep | 2023 State NC played at Bull City Prep (NC) this past year after attending North Meck in the past. Hardy was suited up for the Mint Hill Lakers here at the Phenom Grassroots TOC this weekend. TJ is a thick guard who likes to get downhill with the ball in his hands. Hardy who has a football body really likes to use the crossover move to race by defenders.

Zion McDuffie Zion McDuffie 6'4" | SF Butler | 2023 State NC is suiting up for Team Charlotte UAA 17U as an unsigned senior. McDuffie just finished his career at Butler HS. Zion is athletic young man with a very good motor to get things done. He really looks to excel in the open court at the wing position. McDuffie plays very good in the passing lanes while picking up several deflections along the way.
