We were in attendance for the event and below are some of the standouts in the opening set of games.
Alexander Lloyd Alexander Lloyd 6'4" | SG Westminster | 2025 State #64 Nation FL , Westminster Academy (FL)
Long, wiry and bouncy transition athlete who fills the lane and slashes to the rim for dunks and acrobatic finishes. Has great length and uses it on the defensive end to shoot passing lanes for steals or contain guards on the perimeter. Flashed smooth shooting form from three-point range.
Alier Alier Alier Alier 6'8" | PF Orangewood Academy | 2024 CA-S , Orangewood Academy
Quick twitch athlete who plays with a high motor. Runs the floor well in transition and is always looking to finish above the rim around the basket. Intriguing defensive instincts as a rim protector and defensive rebounder due to his combination of length and anticipation.
Bryce Bedgood Bryce Bedgood 6'9" | PF Valencia | 2024 State CA-S , Valencia
Showed off his great hands, touch and feel when scoring around the rim. It’s clear the 6-foot-9 forward works on his Mikan Drill quite a bit as he’s great at spinning the ball off the glass and can do so with either hand. Active rebounder on both ends of the floor who pursues the ball and tries to rebound it at its peak.
Sabien Cain, University (IN)
Physical downhill guard who uses his strength to take contact and stay on balance to get into the lane. Really good at getting two feet in the lane, drawing in multiple defenders and finding the open shooter. Knocked down a couple of deep three-point jump shots and knows how to use his body to shield off potential shot blockers around the basket.
Kavon Ray, Future College Prep
Ray was one of the the most productive players in the first set of games. The 6-foot-2 lefty guard played with motor and confidence, shot the ball well from three-point range, and had a couple of highlight reel dunks. One of the better parts of his performance was the effort and energy he played with on the defensive end.
Jafat Valancia, Veritas Prep
Skilled left-handed forward who can dribble, pass and score around the basket in the lane. Has the ability to rebound and push the break and make decisions with the pass and find open shooters.
