15U Top Shooters (seen at Nolensville High School)
Jackson Mccutcheon | 5’9″ | Shockers 2026 | Brentwood (Tennessee)
Now 8 games in, Mccutcheon is making a name for himself as the best shooter on the Circuit! Watching the Shockers play for a second weekend in a row, we were able to scout Mccutcheon more deliberately. Not all shooters are created equally but many share the same strengths. Two highlights of Mccutcheon’s game. First, he is deadly off of offensive rebound kick-outs. Second, he moves without the ball extremely efficiently. You can catch Mccutcheon next at the Spring Extravaganza in Indianapolis, Indiana, April 21-22.
Xavier Poplar | 5’6″ | Team Clutch 2026 | Olive Branch (Mississippi)
Poplar shot the ball very well all weekend but one game, in particular, set him apart. In a back-and-forth game against a feisty Clarksville Crossovers team, Poplar got hot in the second half knocking down 7 total 3-pointers including 5 in the first five minutes. Poplar isn’t the tallest player in the gym so he has to drift a little further away from the defense to get his shot off. He was at his best when he limited his dribbles and shot with good balance. The next evolution to his game will be the shot fake and blow by.
Chase Swafford | 6’2″ | Indiana Elite Blers | Plainfiled (Indiana)
Swafford is a tough, guard that can score the ball from all over the court. He gets highlighted here because of his overall shooting skillset. He possesses the size and length to get his shot off over smaller defenders. But his skill stretches beyond the physical attributes. He has a very quick dribble to shot transfer that is tough to contest. Swafford has a strong downhill drive that he showcased he can elevate and knock down the mid-game jump shot too.
Bryce Garnett Bryce Garnett 5'9" | PG Kirkwood | 2027 State TN | 5’9″ | Clarksville Crossovers 2026 | Kirkwood (Tennessee)
Garnett is a southpaw with a smooth shot rotation. He plays with pace and looks for shots with his hands ready to fire at any time. You can tell Garnett has been a knockdown shooter for a few years because he has already developed the ability to slither in the paint and work the mid-game angles. Garnett has a soft touch around the rim and is consistent at the free-throw line.
Jacob Hill (2027) | 6’0″ | Team Clutch 2026 | Memphis University School (Tennessee)
Hill is a certified shot maker. He can create off the dribble and he moves without the ball. Team Clutch played with tempo all weekend and Hill was one of the consistent recipients of transition shots. Whenever he found daylight, he was making the most of his opportunities.
