First Team:
Powers is a very well-rounded player. One thing that I really like about his game is his pace; he’s impossible to speed up and excels at his speed. He is a three-level scorer and is efficient going both right and left. Powers has a near picture-perfect jumper. Combine that with his great athleticism and he is able to shoot right over the top of defenders with virtually zero breathing room. He knows where he is most effective on the floor and he does well at finding those spots. Powers shows great confidence in his skills and is very poised.
I really like Loggins’ ability to score downhill. He’s uber athletic and plays in the air. This helps him as a scorer, rebounder, and defender. He is most dominant when attacking the rim and finishing through contact. Although, he can definitely step outside and bury the long-ball. Since he is such an athlete, he tallies plenty of emphatic blocks. He is able to get those highlight-reel blocks thanks to his smart defensive rotations away from the ball. Loggins loves to play fast and runs the floor very well; he is constantly searching for steals that he can turn into dunks.
Something that really stood out about Harper Jr’s game is his decision making. He’s deliberate with his movements and doesn’t waste any space as he attacks the basket. He shows good patience with the ball in his hands, especially when in the key. Harper Jr will step out and hit from beyond the arc and has good ball-handling skills. He is an active rebounder and plays with high energy and great intensity. He plays hard defense both on and away from the ball. You can always count on Harper Jr to give you everything he’s got.
Brett Siroin
Brett Siroin
I was impressed with Siroin’s decision-making in late game situations. No stage is too big for him as he is a confident scorer and wants the ball in his hands in close-game scenarios. He can confidently make the three-ball and is an efficient scorer when penetrating the lane; he finishes well with both hands and through contact. Siroin does a lot on the rebounding efforts too as he typically has great positioning. Siroin also has good playmaking abilities at his size.
Cade Dirkse
Cade Dirkse
I really like how Dirkse moves on either end of the floor. He has excellent awareness and loves to make the right pass. He scores from all three levels and is a good facilitator as well. Carrying much of the ball-handling duties for his team, he appears very comfortable and difficult to speed up. Dirkse does a nice job of using his body to his advantage whether it’s on the rebounding, defensive, or scoring efforts. He’s a very active and smart defender and he uses his strength to help him when tasked with guarding a bigger opponent. Dirkse is a sound player and impacts the game on both ends.
