Here are some of the standout players that I was able to watch during the weekend.

[player_tooltip player_id='1366003' first='Jaden' last='Vance'] Bella Vista Prep (Zona Nation)

The long guard showed his complete offensive arsenal over the weekend. He hit threes, mid range pull up jumpers, and got to the rim. He takes long strides that enable him to go by defenders. His athleticism is beginning to kick in as he tried to dunk everything in the painted area.

[player_tooltip player_id='1430450' first='Elijah' last='Brush'] Chandler (AZ Prime) (Featured Image-left)

An active wing, Brush brings energy to the game. He has a good touch from the mid range and in. On defense he's very active and knows how to use his length.

[player_tooltip player_id='1911511' first='Gus' last='Cardon'] Gilbert (AZ Prime) (Featured Image-middle)

Cardon is an active guard who can pass it well. He has a nice pull up jumper and can really shoot it with range. One of the better shooters I saw the whole weekend.

[player_tooltip player_id='1570942' first='Tillman' last='Huish'] Gilbert (AZ Prime) (Featured Image-right)

Huish is a guard who handles the ball confidently and is aggressive. He has a good looking stroke out to the three point line. On defense he has active hands and looks to pick the defenders pocket.

Daniel Osasjoshua SG 6'3 2025 Skyline Prep (AZ Storm)

A guard with good size he showed a nice mid range game as well as the ability to get to the rim. He scored at a high rate for his team. Osasjoshua also rebounded very well for his position.

[player_tooltip player_id='2806263' first='Xander' last='Koehler'] PF 6'5 2025 Brophy Prep (PHX Runnin Rebels)

Koehler plays hard and with a lot of intensity. He particularly brings this to the defensive side of the ball. He fights for rebounds and pretty much every loose ball. On offense he has a nice touch around the basket.

Ezbon Yambo PF 6'6 2025 Bella Vista Prep (Zona Nation)

Yambo is a raw athletic forward who plays with a lot of energy. On offense he's a work in progress but on defense is where his presence is felt. He defends all of the front court positions very well and attacks the glass like he should get every rebound. Ezbon has tons of upside.

[player_tooltip player_id='1770295' first='Will' last='Jenson'] Brophy Prep (PHX Runnin Rebels)

The big fella has excellent touch around the basket with range extending out close to the three point line. Jenson has a good motor and is also a very solid rebounder.

[player_tooltip player_id='1555181' first='Adrian' last='Higuera'] Millennium (AZ Storm)

The young point guard played up and more than held his own. He ran the team very well by getting his teammates the ball in positions to make plays. He was also able to score when the opportunity presented itself. Higuera will be one of the better incoming freshmen in the state.

Jules Assim PF 6'9 2025 Bella Vista Prep (Zona Nation)

A big forward who runs the floor exceptionally well for a person his size. Assim has big hands and is a very good rebounder. He also is a shot blocker with good timing on contesting shots. He showed the ability to finish around the rim.

Jamison Fox F 6'8 2025 Arcadia (PHX Runnin Rebels)

Fox is a versatile forward who is a tough match up. He can score from all three levels. He's also a very active rebounder having posted multiple double doubles over the weekend.

[player_tooltip player_id='1445956' first='Fresh' last='Carter'] AZ Compass Prep (Zona Nation)

One of the better shooters in the 16U division, Carter got extra attention from opposing coaches. He has grown since the last time that I saw him and his ball handling has improved. He shoots it with range and has a very quick release.

[player_tooltip player_id='2627313' first='Max' last='Rehl'] SF 6'5 2025 Brophy Prep (PHX Runnin Rebels)

Rehl is a tough wing player who loves the contact. When he's in the lane he's often creating the contact in an effort to draw fouls. He's also able to create his own shot especially in the mid range. He can hit the occasional three pointer and is a good rebounder.
