AAU Roster Spotlight: Indiana Elite 2024

With rosters being finalized and the first Live Period this weekend, now is a perfect time to start taking a look at as many Indiana-based teams as we can. Didn't think so. Not only is Bidunga the best player on this roster, he might be the best player in the 2024 class nationally. With Bidunga, there is a not prospect like him that has his size, motor, rim protecting skills, and ability to finish way above the rim. When watching him at IndyBall, he has also improved he ball handling and has even worked on stretching the floor a little. He will be the most sought after prospect on on the 3SSB circuit. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading {"level":1} --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Potential Breakout Player: [player_tooltip player_id='1158176' first='Josiah' last='Dunham'] <a href="https://prephoops.com/player/cannen-houser-2/"></a></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>No secret about it, this Indiana Elite team is loaded with high major division one talent. With this loaded team, the guy that is going to have the ball in his hand 90% of the time is guard [player_tooltip player_id='1158176' first='Josiah' last='Dunham'] as he is the main ballhandler. Dunham is one of the smartest on-ball guard we have in the state and he can be a capable scorer as well. While most of the players on this team are getting high major looks, I feel as though Dunham falls a little under-the-radar in that area. Dunham really gets the offense going on this team and he is due for a breakout AAU season. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading {"level":1} --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Quick Hitters</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:list --> <ul><!-- wp:list-item --> <li>[player_tooltip player_id='1158180' first='Braden' last='Walters'] - Walters joins this team after spending the last few seasons playing for GPP. Walters does all the little things like rebounding, passing, and hustling so well. However, he just has no interest on scoring the ball, which is the problem. For him to take that next step, he has got to get in the mindset to score more than he does. His scoring mentality is something to watch for this season. </li> <!-- /wp:list-item --></ul> <!-- /wp:list --> <!-- wp:list --> <ul><!-- wp:list-item --> <li>[player_tooltip player_id='1158209' first='Aaron' last='Fine'] - Fine brings a lot of toughness to this team. On both ends of the floor, he is about as tough as you can get. The only area of improvement for him is finishing around the basket. </li> <!-- /wp:list-item --></ul> <!-- /wp:list --> <!-- wp:list --> <ul><!-- wp:list-item --> <li>[player_tooltip player_id='939117' first='Travis' last='Perry'] - Perry is the best overall scorer on this roster. He can score at all three areas at a high level which has led to his stock taking a huge rise. If Indiana Elite needs a bucket, Perry will be their guy. </li> <!-- /wp:list-item --></ul> <!-- /wp:list --> <!-- wp:list --> <ul><!-- wp:list-item --> <li><strong>Colin White</strong> - White is a newer addition to this team as he did not play for them last year. He is a bigger scoring guard that has a great motor and can score at all areas of the floor. </li> <!-- /wp:list-item --></ul> <!-- /wp:list --> <!-- wp:list --> <ul><!-- wp:list-item --> <li><strong>Raleigh Burgess </strong>- Burgess is a versatile power forward that adds even more size to this loaded team. While it is going to take some more time for him to recover from his leg injury, once he returns, he is going to be a very important piece to the front court of this team. </li> <!-- /wp:list-item --></ul> <!-- /wp:list --> <!-- wp:list --> <ul><!-- wp:list-item --> <li><strong>Cooper Koch</strong> - Koch brings the wing scoring to this team. He is a long, lanky wing that provides a ton of IQ around the perimeter.
