These wings had outstanding weekends, showing out at multiple events. Although most of these guys are gearing up for their senior seasons, some are unsigned seniors looking to make one last impression before the summer is over. Take a look at some of the early season standouts manning the wings.

[player_tooltip player_id='1612190' first='Dylan' last='Wiggins'] | WA Supreme | 2024

Wiggins started as a post when I first saw him last year, but since then he has demonstrated the necessary skills to play from the wings while maintaining some rugged qualities that help him still excel inside. Last weekend, his on-ball defense stood out as he showed quick feet, a high motor, and quick rotations.

[player_tooltip player_id='2153060' first='Silas' last='Woodward'] | Elite Sports Academy | 2024

Woodward has a nice build for a wing player. He's about 6-foot-3 but has a solid build and was the recipient of lots of on-ball screens from the wing. Defenses seemed to key in on him and pack the lane but he flashed the upside to be a real threat attacking the rim. He's a guy to keep tabs on as the summer progresses.

[player_tooltip player_id='1086786' first='Amare' last='Jackson'] | Local Hoops | 2023

Jackson is a big, strong kid who is trouble once he gets going downhill. He's a 6-foot-5 combo forward whose athleticism and motor make him a big factor inside crashing the boards, as well as defending from the interior to the perimeter. With a great second jump, Jackson can clean up his own misses at the rim and keep possessions alive.

[player_tooltip player_id='1440561' first='David' last='Zachman'] | D1 Elite | 2023

I knew Zachman was an athlete but watching him throw down some crazy dunks in warm-ups opened my eyes to just how physically impressive he is. He's probably a wing player at the next level but also has the strength and relentless attitude to be a more-than-capable interior player. His defense is his calling card right now, but he has shown an ability to rack up points and can be a solid two-way guy.

[player_tooltip player_id='1463068' first='Ray' last='Adams'] | NW Greyhounds | 2024

He is one of the higher-potential guys in his class and it has been quite a journey to watch since last spring. Now with NW Greyhounds, Adams is ramping up his activity on both ends of the floor and getting more confident attacking with the ball. The most eye-popping part of his game was a moment where he caught a pass on the wing and quickly fired off a contested 3-pointer, burying the shot. With a quick release, and quick, on-balance feet, Adams showed he's been practicing his jumper. If he can add that consistent long-range shot to his game he will be an even tougher matchup for defenses going forward.
