Sadiq White Jr Sadiq White Jr 6’8″ | SF Myers Park | 2025 State #56 Nation NC takes over the top spot in the 2025 rankings following an impressive display for Myers Park High as they closed out the season with a state title. He’s due to turn a corner in a big way after putting up 11.4 ppg, 6.0 rpg, 1.5 bpg and 1.5 spg in the Mustangs’ frontcourt. He’s shown he can fly around the rim on both ends of the floor and use his length at 6-foot-8 in a variety of ways to make an impact. He’s a mobile threat that can operate at either forward spot already drawing a ton of high-major interest on the recruiting scene. He’ll be one to keep an eye on with Team United on the EYBL circuit this season.

Highlights
Mikey Wilkins Mikey Wilkins 6’8″ | PF Christ School | 2025 State #66 Nation NC didn’t fall too far in the latest update, moving from No. 1 to No. 2 after another productive season in the RS-Central High rotation. He’s another high-major prospect in the 2025 class within the state that can operate on the perimeter and in the paint given his size and ability at 6-foot-8. He was a top scorer in the state once again, posting 28.0 ppg on 57 percent shooting from the field along with 11.5 rpg, 2.5 apg and 2.2 bpg in just his sophomore season. He’s improving at a consistent rate while showing he can showcase his all-around skills on the hardwood at the forward position. He’s a steady name to keep an eye on with Team United on the EYBL scene.
Jackson Keith Jackson Keith 6’6″ | CG Southern Durham | 2025 State #84 Nation NC is another prospect that remains steady in the Top 10 in the state, at the third position. He’s proven to be a lead by example type of prospect at Southern Durham High that averaged 20.7 ppg, 8.2 rpg, 1.8 apg and 1.4 bpg at the guard/wing spot for the Spartans as they went 22-7 on the year and 12-0 in the Northern Lakes Athletic Conference in his sophomore season. He does well to get to his spots and remain efficient in his shots and decision-making. He finished 2022-23 shooting 53 percent from the floor. As he improves his shooting on the perimeter, look for his name to continue to grow on the national scene with Team Loaded VA on the 3SSB Circuit.

Colt Langdon Colt Langdon 6’7″ | SG Millbrook | 2025 State #114 Nation NC is an emerging name out of Millbrook High that remains steady at the fourth spot in the 2025 rankings in the state. He led the way on the wing for the Wildcats in 2022-23 as they made a deep run in the NCHSAA State Playoffs, posting 20.8 ppg, 5.3 rpg and 1.1 apg on 50 percent shooting from the field and 42 percent from 3-point land. He’s a confident wing prospect at 6-foot-8 that can create off the bounce and knock down shots on the perimeter at volume. He finished 2022-23 with 68 total 3-pointers made, according to MaxPreps. He’s another prospect to keep an eye on with Team Loaded VA on the 3SSB scene this spring/summer.

Trent Steinour Trent Steinour 6’10” | C Lake Norman | 2025 State #140 Nation NC is a name in the 2025 class that’s slowly gaining traction on the recruiting scene out of Lake Norman High. He’s a 6-foot-8 versatile forward that plays with a ton of energy around the painted area. He’s also capable of spacing the floor with his ability to knock down shots in the mid-range and on the perimeter. He finished the 2022-23 season with 10.5 ppg, 8.6 rpg and 4.0 bpg in his sophomore season. He’s a high energy rim-protector on defense and fearless in traffic on offense, a lethal combination for a frontcourt option. He’ll run with Team Curry this grassroots season.

Highlights
John Lash John Lash 6’5″ | PF Charlotte Christian | 2025 State NC is the biggest mover into the Top 10, moving from 25th to No. 6 following quite the productive sophomore season in the Charlotte Christian School rotation. He set a new school-record in points with 50 points on 59 percent shooting this past December and ended the year with averages of 24.5 ppg, 14.0 rpg and 1.7 apg for the Knights. He’s a relentless paint presence that can clean up on the glass and operates with a ton of athleticism for his size at 6-foot-6. He’s a name to keep eyes on with Team CP3 on the EYBL circuit this cycle.
Bryce Slay Bryce Slay 6’5″ | SG Carmel Christian | 2025 State #276 Nation NC remains steady in the Top 10 moving from No. 8 to No. 7 after his sophomore season at United Faith Christian Academy. He posted 5.7 ppg, 2.2 rpg, 1.9 apg and 1.1 spg as a spark off the bench for the Falcons as they went 31-3 in 2022-23. He knocked down 31 3-pointers on 38 percent shooting from the field, something he can do with consistency and should do with consistency this grassroots cycle with Team Curry on the UAA circuit. He’s a wiry defender and willing passer offensively that can make things happen in the backcourt when he’s on the floor.

Isaac Ericksen Isaac Ericksen 6’8″ | SF Green Level | 2025 State NC is another mover into the Top 10 out of Green Level High after his contributions on the wing in 2022-23. He’s a 6-foot-7 prospect that can handle the ball as a guard and also operate in the paint at the forward spot, depending on matchups. He finished this past season with 16.2 ppg, 7.3 rpg and 1.9 apg while shooting 40 percent from the field. He’s a prospect that looks to put constant pressure on opponents with his ability to attack off the bounce and create matchup problems for smaller defenders. As he improves on his shooting ability on the perimeter, look for him to emerge as a name to know in the 2025 class.

Trevor Best Trevor Best 6’2″ | CG Word Of God | 2025 State NC is a name that continues to develop over at Word of God Academy in the 919 area. He’s an explosive guard that knows how to get to his spots off the bounce and does a tremendous job of finishing in traffic when given opportunities. He’s an ultimate competitor that uses a nice blend of athleticism and aggression to get to the paint and make things happen around the rim. He’ll be a name to watch with Team Loaded NC on the 3SSB circuit.

Brennen Oldham Brennen Oldham 6’6″ | PF Jordan Matthews | 2025 State NC rounds out the Top 10 in the 2025 rankings out of Chatham Charter School in the 1A NCHSAA ranks. He’s a long, athletic forward that continues to develop with his size at 6-foot-6. He’s due for a breakout summer with Rising Pros Training after posting 12.1 ppg, 5.1 rpg and 1.2 bpg on 59 percent shooting from the paint with the Knights as they finished the 2022-23 season with a 34-1 record and 10-0 in conference action. They’ll do some shifting in the conference ranks this fall but it shouldn’t change the trajector Oldham is on as a versatile forward/wing prospect in the class.
