Townsend, listed as a 6-1 combo guard is explosive when he is finishing around the rim. Townsend is also a prolific rebounder which is uncommon for his size, but is very strong when the basketball is in his hands. He can play both guard positions at a high level and is extremely tough off the dribble.
The 6-3 junior is a sniper when he is out on the floor, getting his teammates involved and can get the job done on both ends of the floor. He took some charges and played excellent defense throughout the weekend at the Music City Madness.
