May 4, 2024: Stephen Saulter Stephen Saulter 6’3″ | SF Pearl-Cohn | 2027 TN is the reason for this story. The Pearl-Cohn wing played a step, sometimes two steps, faster than everybody on his court.
May 4, 2024: Je’Von grew a few inches in the last 6 months. Now listed at 6’3″. Je’Von can play with pace, but he is not really a classic guard. Probably a wing for East Nashville next winter. Carter dressed varsity for a young East Nashville team as a sophomore. Saturday, he did a little of everything. Decent handle. Rebounds ok. Defends bigs in spells. With some work on his jumper he has the promise to play beyond high school.
Highlights
May 4, 2024: Carter is already ranked, so he does not technically qualify for the “Hidden Gem” moniker. he is too low in our rankings though. He is a special ’26 guard that started all season for Centennial High. He scored his team’s first four points against Ball Hawgz 16u Saturday evening at #BluffCityMadness
Carter’s decision-making is at once swift and accurate. He sees gaps and seams like a running back and quickly changes direction to exploit those identified weaknesses.
Highlights
May 4, 2024: Nate soared to a two-handed jam after thrusting baseline. Lamb’s two-footed leap was so easy. Apparently, he high jumps for his high school, as well. Lamb provided a little sizzle seconds later when he spun the unnatural way and blitzed baseline again. His rotation was the kind of “backwards” 360 that Vince Carter popularized in his dunk competitions. Lamb made his swivel on the ground instead of mid-air like Carter, but it was flashy nonetheless.
May 4, 2024: William Wiggins is a power-lifter of a guard. He is built like he just quit the wrestling team 20 minutes ago. Wiggins played with speed when necessary and patience when required. Good basketball I.Q. Can finish around the rim. Defending the ball is a strength. Gutsy player. Attends Ravenwood High.
