The second possession of Atlanta Timberwolves 17u’s early Saturday game unearthed the off-ball awareness of Kaleb.
Gallman began in the left corner, spreading the floor, after leading the team’s very modest transition up the floor. Gallman initiated the movement by stepping towards the left wing, and then sharply cutting to the rim. He was not fed, and was not really open during the cut, but he re-established in the right corner. Drifted slightly towards the right wing, caught a pass, and comfortably made a three-pointer.
Immediately Team Huncho 3SSB called a timeout. They fell to 6-0 down on the Kaleb make.
Kaleb often began from the left corner before floating toward the right wing and showing for the basketball. His catch at the top of the key began with and inserts a slow crossover dribble. Then Gallman makes a dart step to force the defender to commit, steps back slightly, and makes a jumper in rhythm.
Kaleb finished with 11 points in the win.

State Champion Cello Jackson Cello Jackson 6'4" | PG FACS | 2026 State TN starts against for Pro Skills EYBL. He moves up to 16u from last year’s tremendous Pro Skills 15u team. He is one of their lead guards. The team has several ball-dominant players, but Cello gets his chances with the ball.
Blue Chips (GC) leaned upon Jachai Cantave, a lefty point guard out of Houston, Texas. Cantave can really play.
Because he is strong with a powerful base, Cello Jackson Cello Jackson 6'4" | PG FACS | 2026 State TN can get confused for a forward at the 16u level. He is not a forward though and it becomes apparent as soon as he begins dribbling the basketball. Jackson is creative and comfortable moving around the halfcourt and he feeds the post better than most. In this game Jackson looked off the help defender from collapsing to the post and lofted a perfect feed to his big.
Cello plays with the instincts of a point guard. Will be be a point guard in college? Unclear. He will be a play-maker though. He sees the game so well and can make good decisions.
