Prep Hoops Circuit scouts will be on the grounds in all three cities. Here is a deeper dive at the top 16U Players To Watch this upcoming weekend at the Music City Madness in Nashville.
The 6-0 point guard has one of the smoothest catch and release shots you will see this weekend at the Music City Madness. Davenport can score in a variety of ways whether it’s off the bounce or as a perimeter threat. He can also defend multiple positions with his lateral quickness and ability to force havoc for the opposition.
The 6-2 guard is lethal when it comes to shooting from beyond the arc, where he knocked down 40 percent of his shots from the perimeter this season at Page High School. Power is a perennial 20-point scorer and is very crafty when the basketball is in his hands.
Keary is very patient when the basketball is in his hands, as well as can initiate the offense with his pace. He very rarely will make a mistake on the offensive end and won’t force a tough shot. He was the starting point guard on Goodpasture’s state championship game last month.
The 5-11 point guard is very crafty and versatile when he is out on the floor. Henderson’s court vision and awareness is unlike any other where he is always making the smart plays. He plays with a high basketball IQ and is very feisty on the defensive end.
Highlights
The 6-2 point guard is a poised guard who can control his team with precision passing and impact the game in a variety of ways. Preston will rarely force a tough shot or make a bad pass on the offensive end. On the defensive end he is at his best when guarding away from the primary ball handler, as he can jump into the passing lanes and force deflections or steals. He is a solid driver to the basket and finishes efficiently around the rim.
Highlights
The 6-5 sophomore wing is certainly one of the top under the radar prospects this weekend at the Music City Madness. He is a pure left-handed scorer and is a true three level scorer when he plays with an unselfish edge. Walton’s all-around scoring ability will be impacted this weekend for NYBA as they prepare to take on the top 16U teams in the Southeast region.
