Expert Analysis
Steve Quattrocchi | Prep Hoops Scout
One of the most popular recruits in the last 2 weeks or so, Elijah has racked up a bunch of offers since his season ended. Walton is an explosive athlete with high academics and should be a really solid college player wherever he signs at.

Elijah has some of the most impressive athleticism in the 25 class but his motor is what stood out to me on Saturday. There were multiple possessions where Walton was living on the offensive glass. His recruitment should be more active than it is right now. Some school could get a major sleeper on signing day.

Speaking of potential, Elijah has a truckload of it. Tall and long, Walton is a good wing prospect who continues improving. He plays hard and has the potential to develop into a three and D type of player. Don’t overlook the UHA wing and his long term prospects.

Speaking of athletic wings, Walton is one of the better athletes in the class. Elijah has a quick first step that allows him to get into the paint and finish. He needs to continue developing his outside shot as he’s only attempted 12 threes in 10 games.

Elijah is a very good athlete who plays with a great motor and has a chance to earn several college offers as his skill level catches up to his athleticism. He’s got a chance to be very impactful for UHA this season.

The true X factor tomorrow, Walton hasn’t played in many camps across the state and I think he has the potential to be a head turner tomorrow. Elijah always looks intriguing on film but on Saturday, he can impress in person.

Elijah is one of those prospects who has been under the radar due to his lack of playing high level AAU but he passes the eye test as a bouncy wing who can use his athleticism to make “wow” plays when he wants to. Walton needs to continue developing his perimeter skills in the long term but he’s definitely a scholarship level prospect.

The 6-5 wing has athleticism that is eye-opening as he can also play both guard positions in which he handled really well for NYBA this weekend. Walton can also score from in the post or even expand his game into becoming a perimeter threat. He is one of the top players to watch in the state of Tennessee for the Class of 2025.

was all over the court this weekend for NYBA Stars, one of the most active players I saw in Nashville. Walton is a 6’5 wing with eye-popping athleticism and a ton of untapped potential. In addition to his scoring efforts, Walton filled nearly every stat category and impacted all facets of the game. He came up with a number of blocks and steals on the defensive end, grabbed a ton of boards, and even showcased some playmaking ability in the half court. The lefty wing is one to watch in this 2025 class and his best basketball is certainly ahead of him.
