Brock was a man on a mission as he dominated the Gold Circuit as there was really nobody that could match his strength and athleticism. He turned heads and picked up an offer real quick from D1 JUCO Snow College. The word is out so do not be surprised as more college coaches look to fill their rosters and he is a sure hooper not a mystery player in the portal. He has a high ceiling.
The kid continues to be that Blue Collar worker out there. He is rebounding, passing and hitting open shots. He was impressive on the break catching a few dunks and lobs. Look for him to continue to impress coaches with that size, strength and shooting. One of the most skilled rebounders in the country. He just has a knack for rebounds and he does it against bigger and taller players. What is even more impressive is he is doing it against other D1 kids and not in some random gym or tournaments, he is doing it on the Adidas 3SSB Circuit.
Dutch is bigger and sharper that the last time he was on the floor. Really like the size at his position and the shooting ability as he has been able to light it up from deep in the first live period. That floor stretching ability is something that will help his team be competitive. Look for Dutch to continue to impress and coaches at the D1 level looking to add shooting should be all over him.
Drez was in his bag this past weekend shooting the rock from all over. He has a soft touch in the mid-range and a given from the outside. He is an absolute stock riser for sure. A little wiggle to his game and he can create. Solid outing for sure.
JJ was doing his thing just running things. Really impressed with his knowledge on when to stick to the play or offense and when to take advantage of someone pover playing him or a switch. He does such a good job holding off players and working that mid range. When he shoots from the NBA range he really makes it look effortless. Creating ability is elite as he set up so many of his teammates with easy looks and if they went in or not wasn’t the biggest deal it was that he was making the right plays and that is what college coaches want to see. Averaged about 18 PPG and 6 APG. Solid first ride on the Adidas 3SSB Circuit.
Highlights
Soren was showing that mobility and his ability to continue to improve out in the perimeter. Really like what he showed out in Phoenix. That size and mobility is something that he can continue to work on as his skills improve with more time on the floor. He is going to be big time here soon for Highland.
