Most outstanding player: 2024 [player_tooltip player_id='1171695' first='Matthew' last='Noll'] (Heelan)
Stats: 20.0 points, 11.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.5 blocks, 14-25 FG (56%), 1-4 3P (25%), 11-12 FT (91.7%)

This may not be a popular decision, given the fact that Heelan lost in the semifinals, but Noll was the most impressive player in the 3A field. He scored efficiently around the rim, showed that he can make plays for himself and his teammates, was dominant on the glass, provided versatility on the defensive end, and was arguably the player who improved his stock the most throughout the week.

2023 [player_tooltip player_id='1167689' first='Aidan' last='Yamilkoski'] (Xavier)
Stats: 17.0 points, 5.7 rebounds, 14-41 FG (34.2%), 7-23 3P (30.4%), 16-21 FT (76.2%)

Take your pick between Yamilkoski and Bean for the Saints' representative here, but we'll side with the senior wing who was really good in the semifinals, and helped Xavier build a sizable lead in the championship game despite battling foul trouble.

2024 [player_tooltip player_id='1751215' first='Reggie' last='Postel'] (North Polk)
Stats: 18.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.5 steals, 15-32 FG (46.9%), 6-13 3P (46.2%), 1-2 FT (50%)

North Polk had Bondurant-Farrar on the ropes in the semifinals, and the electric play of Postel was the primary reason why. He was a menace on the defensive end in both of the Comets' games and showed a much better perimeter stroke than his season shooting percentages indicated.

2023 [player_tooltip player_id='956874' first='Colby' last='Collison'] (Bondurant-Farrar)
Stats: 15.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 2.3 blocks, 15-32 FG (46.9%), 1-6 3P (16.7%), 14-17 FT (82.4%)

The champion Bluejays were incredibly balanced all week long, but it was Collison's play in the second half of their comeback win over Xavier that carried them to the state title.

2023 [player_tooltip player_id='1288894' first='Carter' last='Kuehl'] (Heelan)
Stats: 21.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 16-27 FG (59.3%), 6-14 3P (42.9%), 5-6 FT (83.3%)

Kuehl was also outstanding for the Crusaders, especially in their semifinal loss to Xavier, when he went for 26 points on 10-16 shooting (4-7 3P). The 5-11 guard is a fantastic shooter both off the dribble and the catch.
