An incredibly strong group of underclassmen had their talents on display, but there were several good upperclassmen in attendance as well. We will have plenty of content over the next few days breaking down the event, but we wanted to quickly highlight some of the top performers from the event. These were the best players that our staff saw play on Sunday.
Justin Curry II Justin Curry II 6'4" | SG Noblesville | 2026 State IN (Noblesville H.S. 2026): Already known as one of the top prospects in Indiana’s Class of 2026, Curry II showed his talented throughout the day on Sunday. He is so smooth athletically with some real explosiveness when he gets up off of the floor. Curry II is also an excellent shooter off of the dribble making him a legitimate three-level scoring threat. This prospect will garner a lot of early college attention this summer from a variety of Division I programs. He is a potential high-major talent.
Jamichael Fountain Jamichael Fountain 6'0" | PG Carmel | 2026 State IN (Carmel H.S. 2026): This physical, athletic, left-handed guard had it cooking at the Prep Hoops Indiana Prospect Showcase. Ranked #10 in the Class of 2026, Fountain is a good shooter off of the bounce, has the strength to finish through contact on the way to the rim, and already possesses excellent defensive instincts. It is clear that he is one of the better players in the current freshman class. Really talented all-around playmaker.
Will Frey Will Frey 6'3" | SF Colerain | 2024 State OH (Colerain (OH) H.S. 2024): One of a couple of out-of-state attendees at Sunday’s Prep Hoops Indiana Prospect Showcase, Frey more than held his own against some of the best talent in the Hoosier state. He is a physical 6’3″ wing with excellent shooting ability, strength off of the dribble, and enough athleticism to get to the rim and finish. Frey is an aggressive attacker with the ball in his hands that showed the ability to score it from anywhere. He was filling it up throughout the event.
Kyler Krull Kyler Krull 6'5" | SF Whitko | 2024 State IN (Whitko H.S. 2024): Krull was arguably the most impressive big man at the Prep Hoops Indiana Prospect Showcase on Sunday. His activity level and all-around motor stood out as much as anything which is certainly impressive for the 6’7″ forward. He finished at a high-level, rebounded on both ends of the floor, and showed off his mobility running the floor. For college programs looking for size in 2024 you will want to check out this prospect over the spring and summer months.
Jean-Claude L’homme Jean-Claude L’homme 6'0" | PG Lawrence Central | 2026 State IN (Fishers H.S. 2026): L’Homme is an excellent shooter, both off of the catch and off of the bounce, and had some big time scoring outbursts on Sunday. During one game he took over scoring on four straight possessions including a couple of smooth mid-range jump shots and drawing a foul on a three-point attempt. He is a talented scorer who can create for himself and gets good elevation on his shot. The 6’0″ guard is certainly one to keep an eye on as he develops at Fishers.
Baris Moore Baris Moore 5'11" | PG Kokomo | 2026 State IN (Taylor H.S. 2026): Electric with the basketball and explosive in the air, this 6’0″ guard proved why he had one of the better freshman seasons in the state this year. After scoring 12.2 points per game for Taylor, Moore showed his ability to put the ball in the basket on Sunday. He is so hard to stay in front of off of the dribble, can stretch the defense out beyond the arc, and finishes at a really high level for his age around basket. Fun prospect to watch going into the spring and summer.
Jack Toles (Carmel H.S. 2025): Toles is a 6’7″ left-hander that can really stretch the floor out beyond the arc. That sentence alone should be enough to get your attention. He knocked down several three-point shots on Sunday including a game-winner as time expired. His catch-and-shoot ability make him a constant threat on the perimeter, especially at his size. Look for Toles to have a breakout spring and summer.
Jaymen Townsend Jaymen Townsend 6'6" | SF Marion | 2025 State #248 Nation IN (Marion H.S. 2025): If you are looking for a “Most Valuable Player” from Sunday’s event, this 6’5″ skilled wing would certainly be in the running for the award. Townsend handles the ball like a guard while having the size and strength of a forward. When he is able to get downhill to the basket, which he is very good at doing, there is little the defense can do to stop him from getting all the way to the rim. He currently holds an offer from IUPUI and likely will add to that list over the spring and summer months.
