The Class AAA is so deep and stocked with talent.

Of the 16 remaining Class AAA teams many players both deserve recognition and instill fear in opponents.

[player_tooltip player_id='1262822' first='Jakeb' last='Davis'] (White County), a PrepHoopsTN Combine All-Star, plays with grit and skill. Davis' game improved dramatically in the last two years. The tough-minded shooter is now an accomplished, lighting-quick lead guard. Makes good decisions. Plays competently at multiple speeds. Cares only about winning.

[player_tooltip player_id='1261285' first='Japheth' last='Richmond'] (White County) is an explosive, leaping combo forward and his team gets plenty of offensive put-backs from him. Twice he earned @PrepHoopsTN Combine All-Star back in June 2021 and June 2022. Richmond will play college basketball next year, but has not signed just yet.

Richmond showed large hands, as would be expected by his height. Richmond's wingspan measured 6-foot-8, which is a +3. Scouts at every level love that kind of length.

Mr. Basketball Finalist [player_tooltip player_id='1346844' first='Damarien' last='Yates'] (Fayette Ware) is the best uncommitted player in Tennessee. Yates is the kind of 6-foot-8 athlete that you need to see in-person to fully appreciate. Yates is not a stiff, rebounding lug rather a limber, versatile combo forward with some extended shooting range. Also, Yates constantly rebounds in the double-figure range.

[player_tooltip player_id='1321569' first='Tacarien' last='Freeman'] (Fayette Ware) gives Fayette Ware a compliment to Yates, as a muscular lead guard. Freeman can shoot from the outside or get to the basket. He is an average athlete compared to the explosive Memphis-area senior guards. With another year Freeman will be elevated into that mix, but do not expect him to rim-rattling just yet. There is a swagger and a creativity to his game. Checking TF presents guards with a multitude of problems. Confident by nature. Freeman does not cower from the big moment and, as time has proven, competent and steady guards make deep playoff runs possible.

[player_tooltip player_id='1211987' first='Cade' last='Capps'] (Stone Memorial) makes Stone Memorial a team capable of returning to the State Tournament. Elite shooter. Decent rebounder at the high school level.

[player_tooltip player_id='1273550' first='Shane' last='Cherry'] (Austin-East). No guard is quicker changing directions. In the entire state.
