Second Team
Dionte Alexander Dionte Alexander 6'3" | SG St. Maria Goretti | 2023 State MD – Goretti (Belmont Abbey commit)
Alexander emerged as the primary playmaker for Goretti this season, who finished second in the BCL standings with a 28-9 overall record. The lefty combo guard will head to Belmont Abbey for his collegiate career and proved this season that he will be a productive player at that level.
Tyler Perkins Tyler Perkins 6'4" | SG Landon | 2023 State #268 Nation MD – Landon (Penn commit)
The IAC Player of the Year led the Bears to a runner-up finish in the league. Perkins was not just one of the top scorers in the area, but always a threat to grab 10 boards a night as well.
Caron Smith Caron Smith 6'2" | SG Parkville | 2023 State MD – Parkville
Smith was one of the premiere scorers in Baltimore County for the Class 4A state champion Parkville Knights. He averaged 21.5 points per game and made an impressive 116 triples at a 39 percent clip in their 27-win season.
Cam Sparrow – New Town
Sparrow was the lead guard for the Titans who claimed championships in the county, region and state for Class 2A. The 6’3 guard has always been a fluid shooter from deep and the mid-range area, but it was his willingness to rebound and defend at a high level that ultimately helped New Town reach their full potential.
Ace Valentine Ace Valentine 6'2" | PG Mount St. Joseph | 2023 State MD – MSJ (UMBC commit)
Valentine cemented himself as one of the best guards in the state and a tremendous addition for UMBC for years to come. The 6’3 point guard controlled games from start to finish and stepped up countless times in clutch situations to keep Mount St. Joseph atop of the Baltimore rankings.
