<p>Due to winter weather in northern Indiana and flood conditions in southern Indiana there were a handful of Sectional sites that had to postpone games over the weekend. That shifted the typical Friday/Saturday schedule to Saturday/Monday leaving us with 15 Sectional champions that still need to be crowned. Here are the five best matchups to watch on a rare Sectional championship Monday night.</p>

<h2>Sectional 1 @ Munster: Hammond Central vs. Munster</h2>

<p>Two of the best teams in The Region will matchup in the championship game of Sectional 1. The #8 ranked Mustangs have the advantage of playing on their home court where they have not lost this season. They are 24-2 overall and have now won 17 straight to end the season. Senior forward [player_tooltip player_id='814532' first='Brandon' last='Trilli'], a Northern Michigan signee, leads Munster in scoring at 21.1 points per game and rebounding at 6.7 per game. Watch out for junior guards [player_tooltip player_id='1275808' first='David' last='Cundiff'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1384419' first='Nolan' last='Kinsella'] as well. As for Hammond Central, they come in with a sparkling 24-1 record and a #3 ranking in Class 4A. The Wolves feature a balanced scoring attack led by Eastern Illinois football signee [player_tooltip player_id='1049160' first='Jordan' last='Woods']. The senior point guard stuffs the stat sheet averaging 13.9 points, 5.1 rebounds, 6.7 assists, and 3.6 steals per game. Junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1384393' first='Matthew' last='King'] is another talented guard who is capable of going off for Hammond Central. <h2>Sectional 20 @ NorthWood: NorthWood vs. West Noble</h2>

<p>As they have for most of the season, NorthWood rolled in the first two rounds of their Sectional to reach the championship game. However, the road will get much tougher now as they face a talented West Noble squad. The host Panthers are 23-2 on the season and hold the #1 spot in the Class 3A rankings. Huntington signee [player_tooltip player_id='1226596' first='Cade' last='Brenner'] leads the charge alongside Grace signee [player_tooltip player_id='1391324' first='Ian' last='Raasch']. Meanwhile, #10 ranked West Noble has a 21-3 record featuring Bethel signee [player_tooltip player_id='1158635' first='Austin' last='Cripe']. This will be a fun battle between several future Crossroads League rivals. The regular season matchup went NorthWood's way as they won at West Noble 55-47. They will get the benefit of playing on their home floor this time around as they look to cut down the Sectional 20 nets for the third year in a row.</p>

<h2>Sectional 46 @ Southwestern (Hanover): Brownstown Central vs. Southwestern (Hanover)</h2>

<p>Brownstown Central enters with plenty of fanfare led by Class of 2024 Purdue commit [player_tooltip player_id='1158245' first='Jack' last='Benter']. The 6'5" junior guard is one of the top scorers in the state of Indiana and has been known to shatter a backboard or two with his thunderous dunks. The Braves enter the Sectional 46 championship game with a 21-4 record, having won 12 straight games, and are ranked #4 in Class 2A. There is plenty of talent to surround Benter as well including junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1547584' first='Parker' last='Hehman'], senior [player_tooltip player_id='1556396' first='Jakob' last='Arthur'], and sophomores [player_tooltip player_id='1297005' first='Colby' last='Hall'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1296999' first='Chace' last='Coomer']. As for the Rebels, they are lesser known on the statewide level but come in playing excellent basketball as well. The Sectional hosts are 21-3, winners of nine out ten games, and are ranked #9 in the Class 2A polls. Senior [player_tooltip player_id='1578454' first='Peyton' last='Gwin'] leads the Rebels with 18.7 points per game while juniors [player_tooltip player_id='1761700' first='Jamison' last='Lewis'] and Peyton Cloud add 18.1 points and 13.6 points per game respectively. Southwestern is a well-balanced team that can try to match Brownstown's offensive firepower.</p>
