Eastside Catholic is always filled with high caliber players from top to bottom. Noah is just a sophomore this year but utilized his minutes well throughout the year. He displayed his abilities to play high level defense and attack the bucket very efficiently. He finishes through traffic well and will continue to grow his all round game.
Highlights
Gannon got really solid minutes as a sophomore on one of the top 1A teams in the stater, in fact the Lyncs won state for the 2nd time in as many years. With the Lyncs having a couple guards graduating, Dykstra will be relied on a lot more next season, especially having to be the ball carrier more often next year.
Caden is really solid on the court as an overall player. He has a very solid outside shot, being able to shoot efficently off the dribble and off the catch. Nooksack is only losing 2 players from their squad this year, so Caden and company have a great chance for a solid year. Caden will likely be one of the ball options and I personally think he will handle it well and put his name on coaches radars.
Highlights
Garrett already stands at 6’7″ and is likely not done growing. He finishes nicely at the rim, given his size. His length is a problem by the rim for any team they go against. His brother, Gavin, is headed to Oregon State and I think Garrett can grow into a Division 1 type of player too. He will benefit a lot over the summer when he suits up for FOH Seattle.
