Shane Curry Shane Curry 6'4" | SF Thomas Jefferson | 2025 State CO was the scoring leader in the 2025 class in Colorado this year averaging 26.2 points per game. Shane is a lengthy wing who has some notable upside. He stands at 6’4 and can spread the floor with his three-point shot. Shane is a good athlete who has been able to throw down some big dunks this season. I am very interested to see how he plays this AAU season against better competition.
Matthew Angelo Matthew Angelo 6'3" | SG Mead | 2025 State CO – Mead
Matthew Angelo Matthew Angelo 6'3" | SG Mead | 2025 State CO is a newer name in town as he moved out to Colorado last year. Matthew is a big guard standing at 6’2 he has great length for a ball handler. He had a great last performance of the year putting in an efficient 11 points at the Denver Coliseum. Matthew is a smooth player, he has shown flashes of dominating getting downhill, once he is able to consistently finish at the rim that will take his game to the next level. He is a good set shooter who can make teams pay if they give him too much room.
Elias Schendler Elias Schendler 6'4" | SG Basalt | 2025 State CO – Basalt
Elias is a big wing who does a good job controlling the paint in games. Elias stands at 6’4 and is a good athlete who does all of his scoring at and around the rim. He uses his athleticism and good finishing instincts to finish over and around defenders. Elias uses his size to box out and controls the boards for his team. He will be a small-town athlete to keep an eye on!
Joey Cook Joey Cook 6'2" | SF Broomfield | 2025 State CO – Broomfield
Joey Cook Joey Cook 6'2" | SF Broomfield | 2025 State CO is a tough almost undersized power forward as he does a good job rebounding and finishing around the rim. Joey stands at 6’2 but has a very bulky frame that he uses to bang down low. While he is bulky he is also agile and skilled near the rim using a variety of moves to score. Joey is a straight-up worker on the court, he plays hard and does the little things, one of my favorite new names in the rankings to watch.
Elijah Eschmeyer Elijah Eschmeyer 6'7" | SF Peak To Peak | 2025 State CO – Peak to Peak
Elijah Eschmeyer Elijah Eschmeyer 6'7" | SF Peak To Peak | 2025 State CO is a player I could see breaking out within these next few seasons. Elijah has great size standing at 6’7 and can shoot the ball from outside with good efficiency. Elijah was also a very good shot blocker this season, using his length to affect shots. He is likely a name many people do not know yet, but he will be a player to know. I am very interested to see how he looks next season after playing this spring and summer with the Utah Prospects.
Brady Wynja Brady Wynja 6'6" | SF Valor Christian | 2025 State CO – Valor Christian
Brady Wynja Brady Wynja 6'6" | SF Valor Christian | 2025 State CO is a combo forward with solid size and he will most definitely be a player to look out for to step into a bigger role next season with Valor. In Valor’s last game of the season against Mountain Vista, Brady stepped in when the other two big men were in foul trouble and had a great game. He showed off the ability to be an effective role man in the pick and roll. On the defensive end, he was stepping out onto guards and more than holding his own. Brady is an interesting prospect who I am very intrigued to see throughout his career.
