McClendon should have been ranked already and now he’s had a breakout season and will be one of the best players in the 13rd region next season and in the mix for player of the year. Kyler is a three level scorer and is very athletic. If he plays AAU this summer, his stock could take off.
Charlie enters the rankings at 50th and will likely move up as he gets a chance for more exposure this summer. Fitzer is a big body and an excellent rebounder and finisher. There’s no real stretch to his game but that could be because of lack of opportunity too. Keep an eye on the big man from the mountains.
Neal had a big season for a North Oldham team that was among the tops in the state all season long. Grant should see the opportunity to play with the ball in his hands more than he has in the past and has shown he’s a tough slasher in addition to being a big time shooter.
Pouncy enters the 2024 rankings after reclassing from 2023 and getting eligible at Cooper after missing nearly the entire season while waiting for eligibility. Jashaun is a load underneath and has a polished post game. He’s also a really good athlete. His college future is probably on the football field but he’s a difference maker for Cooper until then.
