Leyton Martin Leyton Martin 6'0" | PG Arlington | 2025 State WA | Arlington
Martin filled the void left by his older brother and has put up some big numbers this year, averaging close to eight assists per game, and notching a few triple-doubles. He’s been outstanding dishing the ball and using his high IQ to make plays on defense, but most importantly, has led his team to a 16-4 regular season record, first place in the Wesco 2A/3A, and a trip to the state tournament.
Patrice Mpouli Patrice Mpouli 6'2" | SG Hamilton | 2026 State AZ | Rainier Beach
The Rainier Beach freshman has shown he can be one of the most explosive players in the state this season, offensively and defensively. He’s got an aggressive style of play that’s accentuated by his length and athleticism. Pair that with great instincts and you can see why he’s one of the top breakout players of the season.
Jaylen Petty Jaylen Petty 5'11" | PG Auburn | 2025 State WA | Auburn
Petty has quickly established himself as one of the premier shooters this season. He’s gone off for multiple 30-plus point games and has emerged as the Trojans’ top scorer and an all-league player in his sophomore season. He’s also a defensive pest and exudes confidence as a player ready for any test.
Ismail Guyo Ismail Guyo 6'4" | PG Nathan Hale | 2026 State WA | Nathan Hale
Here’s a tall and long point guard who’s shown great playmaking ability as well as some deep range on his shot. The size and skill combo is a rare one at the point guard position and Guyo has plenty more upside to tap into after leading Nathan Hale to a 20-3 record this season.
Jackson Whitaker | Liberty
Whitaker quietly burst onto the scene as a third option for the Liberty Patriots. He can fill both guard spots, lead a pass first attack or take it upon himself to find a shot here and there. He’s been a good shooter from distance and did a little bit of everything in his first high school season.
Isaiah Cunningham Isaiah Cunningham 6'4" | SG O'Dea | 2025 State WA | Lincoln
Cunningham is a player with heaps of talent and finally got the chance to show it at Lincoln this season. He’s fast, long, aggressive, and plays hard on both ends of the floor. He showed his offensive potential this season with some nice ballhandling and shooting. Although I’m dubbing him a breakout this season, he has much higher to go on his journey so don’t be surprised if he “breaks out” again next year.
Baaroc Rivers | Stadium
The diminutive lefty guard was a big part of Stadium’s success this season and could very well find himself in his first state tournament with a win over Todd Beamer on Friday. He’s a guard that plays at his own pace, can knock down shots from the mid-range with a solid pull up and a little bounce, but shows some craftiness too in getting to the rim.
