Fellow senior [player_tooltip player_id='1167685' first='Vance' last='Peiffer'] added 24 points and 13 boards for Waukee (19-2). He connected on 8 of 11 shots from the floor. </p>

<p>Valley (14-4) led this game 24-16 after one quarter, but the Warriors responded by outscoring the visitors, 45-34, in periods two and three. Sophomores Curtis Stinson (14.5 PPG) and Zay Robinson (11.4) have carried much of the load for the Tigers in '22-23. </p>

The Warriors outscored Newton, 18-6 in the first quarter, in recording their 11th victory in a row.
