Expert Analysis
Tony Roe | Prep Hoops Scout
After playing a complementary role as a sharpshooting off-ball guard as a sophomore, Marquart stepped into a starring role as a junior for the Raiders and thrived, averaging 17.4 points, 4.2 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 1.4 steals a game on 45-39-77 shooting splits. He’s a high-level shooter off both the dribble and the catch with range well beyond the high school line, and he has really improved as a playmaker off the dribble.

A 6-1 off-ball guard, Marquart is a sniper from deep who had a great summer playing with a United as One team that featured a good chunk of the Raiders roster. Following the graduations of Preston Gillespie and Casey Gardner, who combined to average over 46 points and 12 assists a game, Marquart will have the ball in his hands a ton as a junior, and he looks like he’s ready to step the next jump in his game.
