<p>The OHSAA playoffs have begun in most parts of the state, we've spent most of the past week previewing each of the regions to help our readers stay informed about what to watch out for as the playoffs get rolling. In this article we'll look at NW Ohio's D4 region, which is usually one of the deepest regions in the state.</p>

<p>This district has star power with the top half of the district having three of the top four seeds. Antwerp is led by [player_tooltip player_id='1187132' first='Landon' last='Brewer'], Toledo Christian by [player_tooltip player_id='1450352' first='Conye' last='Gaston'] and Pettitsville by [player_tooltip player_id='1052787' first='Cayden' last='Jacoby']. Patrick Henry is the top seed in this district after an impressive season. Maumee Valley Country Day could be a sleeper team to watch from this district with a nice group of 2024 prospects.</p>

<p>Convoy Crestview headlines this district with recent Ohio Northern commit [player_tooltip player_id='1225046' first='Gavin' last='Etzler'] leading the charge. They'll likely have a tricky district final with either Pandora-Gilboa or Delphos St John's. On the top side of the bracket, usual suspects Kalida and Ottoville take the two and three seed respectively.</p>

Tiffin Calvert won this district last year after a perfect regular season and now come in as an underdog fourth seed. On the bottom side Hopewell-Loudon and Old Fort are strong teams who split in the regular season as conference rivals.</p>

<p>This district has a majority of schools from the ultra-competitive MAC. Marion Local is the top seed and after a slow start to the season, they found their stride in the middle of the year with [player_tooltip player_id='1404789' first='Jack' last='Knapke'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1432036' first='Austin' last='Niekamp'] making strides. The top side of the district has New Bremen, St Henry, Lima Perry and Minster, all teams capable of making it to a district title game. Fort Recovery could be a sleeper with [player_tooltip player_id='1456985' first='Cale' last='Rammel'] leading the way for them.</p>
