SubscribeHe’s been one of the more consistent players for his team, which is exactly what they need as they get deeper into the state playoffs. His ability to facilitate and score as well as understanding how to control the tempo of the game are all areas that he shows strengths in.
The ECU commit continues to dominate throughout the playoffs and put up a game high of 26 Points in their win over St.Pauls. He’s strong, athletic and an absolute nightmare to guard for just about any player he’s matched up with. If Goldsboro hopes to make a run at a 2A championship, they will need more big-time games from him over the next few weeks.
Another player that continues to play the game at a very high level, he led his team with 24 Points in a very close game against Seaforth. He has impressive end to end speed that he uses to get out into transition for buckets but he’s just as efficient when the game slows down and he has to make plays in the half-court.
Seaforth would come up short by a point in their matchup with East Carteret, but he gave it everything he had to attempt to get the win. He made plays on both ends of the floor and used his size to score against shorter players that he was matched up with throughout the day.

College coaches that are looking for a young man that can flat out score the ball, should give him a call sooner than later! With several teammates being out injured, he stepped up big time for his squad, draining 39 Points in a game that was a battle down the stretch. He understands how to get to his spots, has good lift on his shot and can score a bunch of buckets in a small span of time.
His game high of 23 Points against Northeastern gave his team some of the offensive firepower that they needed as they got the win and advanced to the next round. He’s a versatile player that can play multiple positions on the court which makes it difficult for opponents to defend him.
His squad has been absolutely dominant through the first rounds of the playoffs, and he was one of the main reasons why in their matchup with Kipp Pride. He scored a team high of 15 Points, using his speed to get by defenders to get to the basket for buckets. If Bertie hopes to make a run at a state championship, he will need to continue to play the game at a high level on both ends of the floor.
