Continue ReadingGot off to a quick start and had the fans out of their seats with a few highlight plays that he made above the rim early on. As the game went on, he showcased his ability to rebound at a high level as well as blocking/altering shots.
Highlights
He stepped up and provided some big buckets just about whenever his team needed them. The ability he has to play thru all types of physical contact as well as using his speed to blow by defenders was on full display.
Another player that JUCO programs should be dropping in to see sooner than later, he showed some flashes of his ability throughout the evening. The lefty wing is most dangerous when he’s able to get out into transition and use his athleticism to make plays.
Provides a nice amount of energy and playmaking from the PG spot. He’s the type of player that you love to have on your squad simply based on how hard he plays and how effective he can be even when he’s not scoring.
He got off to a slower start in the first quarter but really got in going in the second quarter with his ability to score inside, draw fouls and rebound at high rate. One of his best attributes is that he understands how to use his height to his advantage, and he knows how to make himself a big target for guards to throw the entry pass into the post.
His team was eliminated in the regional semifinals last year, but he was determined to not allow that to happen again this season. He scored a game high of 35 Points to lead the way, knocking down shots from all levels and helping Richmond to reach their first Regional Final in over 20 years.
