Events like these make you realize how much we depend on the power. Well, as I usually do, I equated this to basketball. Many teams, programs and players also turn toward their power. Let’s look at some of the most powerful players in Michigan!
There may not be many more powerful wings in the country quite honestly. He came into high school with grown man strength and he’s just gained more muscle over the years. Williams has the ability to be a matchup nightmare with his power at his position and I don’t see that changing at the next level when he takes the floor for Louisville.
Williams could be called one of the toughest individuals in the country. That’s what it takes to be a football player at West Point. Well that toughness in life and on the football field more than translates to the basketball court. Williams is strong and physical and can establish position anywhere at any time.

Estelle will not be out toughed or pushed around in the slightest bit on the basketball court. I have him listed at 6-5, but there are plenty of 6-8 plus players around multiple state that this young man can push around. Estelle finds a body to box out on the shot and doesn’t give up position on the block.

I like the power he brings to the game and the way that he pairs it with his versatility. He can defend multiple positions and really utilize his size and strength the farther he moves from the basket and defending the perimeter. Howell is a pretty ferocious and powerful finisher at the rim.
Power can come in many forms and fashions and for Braun, his power between the ears matches his power on the court. This is a really nice combination for a young hooper to have. Braun is physically and mentally tough. He’s powerful on the glass and is a legitimate double-double threat.

Wesolek has a lot of upside and skill. He can finish at the rim with a very powerful 2 handed flush. Wesolek can go up and through his defender under the rim and shrugs off contact. He can put his back to the basket and physically back up his defender to get in a high percentage scoring position.
