Yeah, I write about Braun often. Why? Because I like his game that much. He has next level size and strength. With the ability to bang in the paint, in addition to a knockdown corner triple, Braun’s possibility for continued growth as a player seems limitless to me.

Those of you that have been reading my stuff for a while now are probably very aware that I’m super high on this young man. I think he’s one of the best senior post players in the state. Last night cemented that belief. Braun has successfully transitioned his game from a true center to a floor stretching 4. Braun played tough and physical in this game and initiated contact, physically forcing himself to the rim. Braun worked the baseline really well, both inside and out. He shows that power and touch on his finishes when working the baseline. Braun is also a tremendous shooter from behind the arc in the corners, connecting on a couple against Waterford Mott.

Opponents will have to be very wary of the bag that Braun will bring to the game. He can attack and score both with his back to the basket as well as facing the rim. Braun can stretch the defense, especially when shooting from the corners. He moves well defensively and can slide in to help in the paint.

This is a player that I’m really high on. I thought he was one of the biggest statement makers last year and I know coaches and scouts would want to see him again. Last year he showed both his power under the rim and his ability to step out and stretch the floor. I believe that Braun has the ability to be an elite post player in the class of 2025.

Braun is a top notch post talent that showed off his skill set at the Bowling Green University Elite Camp. He attacked the glass and was a definite factor with his rebounding. Braun drew eyes with his ability to shoot and stretch the defense. This really allows him to attack outside-in or inside-out.

Quite simply, Braun is a next level player. The InspireU 2025 star had me hooked on his game after I saw him at the Prep Hoops Top 250 last fall. While he’s a top notch post player that gets boards, he’s not your old fashioned big. Braun can step outside the arc and stretch the defense with his catch and shoot jumper and can be a factor in the open floor.

as a player and prospect. He really looks like what every coach wants from a post player. Braun has next level size and strength and can play with power on the block and is a strong finisher over his left shoulder. You can see in his film that he also has the ability to step out and stretch the defense. You can get him the ball at the high post and he is an instant shooting threat. He can even step behind the arc and hit a triple. It’s not just a film highlight, we saw Braun do the same at the PH Michigan Top 250.

I knew Braun was good, but he showed me something on Saturday. I knew he was strong, physical and really controlled the paint. I was incredibly impressed when I saw his jumper and saw him bury a corner 3. College coaches will love that aspect of his game, that’s for sure.

Braun will be a post player that college coaches are lined up to see play this weekend. He’s a good old fashioned power house in the paint. Braun uses his frame and physicality to establish position and dominate the block. He goes after the ball off the rim and really limits possessions for his opponents.

I think I just wrote about Braun the other day, but when you earn exposure, you generally get it. He’s an absolute powerhouse under the rim that plays with that ‘I won’t be denied’ type of aura. The best thing about Braun as a post prospect? Easily has to the fact that he keeps getting better. This isn’t the finished product and that could be scary for opponents.
