J’twane Mike
Mike Is a shifty player that is a pest on the defensive end. He is quick to trap players or when they are distracted will attack quickly and take the ball away before they even notice him. Mike can play the passing lanes well and in a game against Canyon City he was harassing them and came away with an impressive 11 steals and finished the night with a double-double. Mike can get it done on the defensive end and will go in the paint and battle on the boards. Against Coronado he was able to come up with 9 rebounds and chipped in, in the scoring column as well. He isn’t going to live at the three point line but is able to knock a couple down on occasion, with most of his scoring coming from the inside.
Potts is a player that plays the passing lane well and he has been having some breakout games on the defensive end. Potts is averaging 2.6 steals per game and Potts has the speed and quickness to be able to extend the press, making it difficult on the ball handler. Against Elizabeth high school Potts had a breakout game and was all over the court on both ends. Potts had 6 steals and was pressuring the ball handlers all not, attacking whenever they picked up their dribble and contesting every shot making it difficult on the offense. On the offensive side of the ball, Potts is an unselfish player that looks to find the open person and passing up a good look for a better one.

Riehl is a player that plays the passing lane well and against Widefield he had that on full display when he came away with 6 steals. He was playing the passing lane getting a hand in and tipping the passes, even snatching it away from the offensive player at times. Riehl is also a good knock down shooter from behind the arc, when he gets into a rhythm hitting it is hard to stop him as he will hit the contested threes as well. Riehl does a lot of his work on the inside and when he gets into the paint he can be a problem for opposing defenses. Riehl is shooting 60% inside the arc and he can finish well inside the paint either on fast breaks or when he is driving into traffic, he just has a knack for finishing.
McCune has been turning some heads on the defensive side of the ball and recently had a breakout game on the offensive side of the ball. Against Golden McCune dropped 21, knocking down 3 three pointers and went 100% from the charity stripe has he connected on 4 from the line. On the defensive end he came up with 6 steals and had his hand all in the passing lanes. McCune was getting himself into the right position all night and came away with a lot of nice plays and easy transition points. McCune was also feeling it from three as he knocked down a couple to try and help keep his team in the game. The Farmers run a zone and this helps McCune be able to use his vision and anticipate the pass and come away with it.

Sims is a player on offense that is great from midrange and in. Sims is not a player that forces the action, he will look for the open man and take the best shot available. Sims is lethal from the top of the key and will make you pay if you leave him open. On the defensive end Sims sags off and plays the passing lane waiting for his opportunity to knock the ball out and get into the fast break on quick transitions. Sims is averaging 2.1 steals per game while also having a block per game as well. Sims shows the ability to get after it on both ends of the court and can be a scorer when he gets the opportunity.
