2023 Rankings Update: Stock Risers (Part: 2)

Jasper has great size for a wing standing at 6'5. He is a true three-level scorer, as he has improved his three-point shooting recently, shooting 43% from behind the three-point arc. Jasper uses his size to take and make tough shots over defenders. He has great scoring instincts in the mid-range and close to the basket, making an unpredictable match-up. Jasper is a big-time scorer that four-year schools should get to know!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1420175' first='Austin' last='Mohr'] - Denver East</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1420175' first='Austin' last='Mohr'] has been an all-around solid player and a great secondary scorer for Denver East this season. Austin does the small things on the floor, making extra passes, rebounding, and playing solid defense. He is a knockdown shooter from outside off the catch, he can make tough shots cutting to open spots on the floor. Austin has also expanded his scoring, now showing the ability to get downhill to the basket. Austin is a big guard standing at 6'3 and he has earned his way into the top 35.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1168984' first='Matthew' last='Boldt'] - Fossil Ridge</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1168984' first='Matthew' last='Boldt'] has been the second most effective player offensively for Fossil Ridge this season. Matthew is a 6'5 combo forward who can bang down low on the defensive end and is a good rebounder, while playing from the wing on the offensive end. He does a good job recognizing mismatches and then scoring from the mid to low post, in the mid-post he has a smooth turnaround game. Matthew is a versatile forward who has had a stock-boosting season with Fossil Ridge this season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1427090' first='Carson' last='Evans'] - Dakota Ridge</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1427090' first='Carson' last='Evans'] is a do-it-all who has been a huge reason for Dakota Ridge's success. Carson does a good job on the boards, being a very good rebounder at his position due to his physicality. This team thrives off of its team-first play style as they have many big contributors. Carson helps set this tone as he is a team first player and a solid passer. Carson is a good scorer around the rim, as he uses a variety of moves to score and does a good job scoring floaters off of two. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1420267' first='Carson' last='Jasa'] - Faith Christian</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1420267' first='Carson' last='Jasa'] has been averaging a double-double this year and is one of the top big men in 3A. Carson is leading Faith Christian to be the number one team in 3A. He has good size standing at 6'7 and is a very good athlete allowing to be a good rim protector and finisher near the rim. Carson can finish with big dunks whether that's on the break or around the rim off of two feet. Basketball is not Carson's top sport as he has committed to Nebraska to play baseball.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
