Jason Howard
Jason Howard
Howard stepped up in a big way in the absence of a few starters to pace the offense for Wakefield. He showed he wasn’t shy about being on the floor as he poured in 17 points and dished out five assists to lead his team to victory. He’s yet another junior guard to keep an eye on with good instincts.
Yancey was quite the all-around presence for the Wolverines in the victory, acting as another playmaker for them in the lineup. He finished with six points, eight rebounds and six assists to show off his ability on the floor. As he cuts down on his turnovers, look for his recruitment to grow as an unsigned senior.
Highlights
Spencer was stellar in leading the Wakefield offense in the victory. He led all scorers with 18 points and showed off his perimeter game with two made 3-pointers. He plays tough inside and out and does well to make defenders work. He’s an unsigned forward to get to know in the 919 area.
Hayden Doebler
Hayden Doebler
Doebler was impressive on the interior for the Wolverines as he showed off his ability to be a presence in the paint. He finished with eight points, five rebounds and a block to show off his ability on the interior. He’s a prospect that DIII/JUCO programs should get eyes on.
Alston finished with a double-double despite the result for the Cougars. He posted 18 points, 10 rebounds and three assists to lead the offense, though his late surge wasn’t enough. He continues to climb up the radar in the 2024 class in NC.
Highlights
Smalls was impressive in running the off-guard spot for the Cougars. He filled up the stat sheet with 13 points, four assists and four steals to show off his ability in the backcourt. He’s an unsigned senior guard that colleges at the DII and DIII level should get to know.
Highlights
Grant was impressive in scoring the ball with 17 points, three rebounds and two steals with Wake Forest, despite the result. He’s another unsigned senior that can get to his spots in the paint and make things happen around the rim.
