Dickerson is well above the pack in terms of freshman guards. He processes the game extremely well at high speeds and is unselfish in how he looks to get teammates going. He was one of the more unselfish lead guards in the camp, excelling at getting his teammates going and making the extra pass in the right spots. It will be interesting to see how all the pieces fit at the new Lake Wylie High School, but I have a feeling this freshman could earn some minutes. Ammons made his presence felt at the Carolinas Freshman Showcase with the energy level that he brought on both ends of the floor. He never took a play off on offense, always making good cuts, screening, or crashing the glass, while defensively he was switchable and kept the ball in front of him.
