What players shined in the spotlight on Tuesday night? Who do you need to know about after the Tuesday night slate? Here is our Tuesday Night Elite!

Our Headliners

Wayzata completely controlled their game with Hopkins and I think we can start to talk about the Trojans as title contenders again. Junior [player_tooltip player_id='1287438' first='Jackson' last='McAndrew'] - who is making a big case to be the top prospect in his class when it comes to long term future potential - scored 27 points. That's another big performance from McAndrew in a big game. Jackson scored the 27 while the Trojan froncourt limited [player_tooltip player_id='1345987' first='Vincent' last='Hillesheim'] to single digits.

Our prediction was..... Correct! Although it was a much bigger victory (point differential wise) than expected.

Ada Borup gave Thief River Falls their first loss of the season. A 68-65 win for the ranked Class A team at home. Unfortunately there has been nothing to find on the game outside of the score.

Our prediction was.... wrong! It was the home team by a score, not the road team.

Buffalo dropped down their statement game! They crushed Eden Prairie 75-50 led by 20 points from [player_tooltip player_id='1491756' first='Nate' last='Dahl'], 15 from [player_tooltip player_id='1284137' first='Grady' last='Guida'], and 11 points from [player_tooltip player_id='1288787' first='Brody' last='Wishart']. An explosive second half led to a comfortable finish and likely the respect that this team has been looking for.

Our prediction was... very very very wrong.

Mora beat Little Falls 68-48 led by 19 points from [player_tooltip player_id='1617781' first='Max' last='Sampson'] and 16 points from fellow senior Jonah Smart. Holding Little Falls to 48 points was an excellent defensive accomplishment.

Our prediction was.... correct!

Benilde-St. Margaret's knocked off Bloomington Jefferson 74-60. The Red Knights were able to hold [player_tooltip player_id='1151197' first='Daniel' last='Freitag'] a dozen points under his average and they were led by the 21 points of [player_tooltip player_id='1284155' first='Jayden' last='Daisy']. Daisy, a junior, is averaging 14 points a game for the top five Red Knights.

Our prediction was.... not just correct, we were off by one point!

Extras

[player_tooltip player_id='1288720' first='Patrick' last='Rowe'] had 24 for Chisago Lakes and the 6'6/6'7 junior wing continues to create highlight finishes for his team. Last night Chisago Lakes improved to 5-7 by defeating Monticello. Rowe is averaging 24.3 points a game.

Big game from [player_tooltip player_id='962239' first='Aj' last='Greene'] of Concordia Academy scoring 33 points in a win over Southwest Christian. Last night Greene moved into second place on the school's all time leading scorer list. He has scored 1,645 career points.

Minnesota get to know Chanhassen sophomore Riley Johnson! The 6'2 wing scored 33 points with [player_tooltip player_id='1287439' first='Max' last='Woods'] scoring 25 and Chan earned a huge win over Orono 93-90. [player_tooltip player_id='1189958' first='Isaiah' last='Hagen'] had 32 in the loss.

St. Cloud Tech beat Fergus Falls 91-45 last night led by 41 points from sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='1284214' first='Tameron' last='Ferguson']. The Otters gave top ten ranked Perham quite a push last weekend so this was a very nice win for Tech.
