Here we take a deeper look into prospects who played well but weren’t selected as POG. There were 16 teams at this event with quality players going all out on the hardwood. Here’s another group of quality players from this event.
A long arm guard. He has a good set of tools to work with. He handles well in the open court, with good vision, looking and pushing in transition. He can play both guard spots if called to do so. He found cutters, moved the ball in half-court. He can hit the three spotting up, coming down in transition, or using a screen, no hesitation with a quick release. He had 16pts, 4-3’s, 5asts. He’s on the Wright’s Watch List.
Jay Washington
Jay Washington
He’s a good conditioned athlete, he played the whole game at a good pace. He always seems to be in position to make a play on both ends, a nice chase down block, getting into the paint for kick-outs or dump offs. He showed good patience running the half-court offense. He has a nice crossover attacking from the perimeter. 6pts, 6rebs, 2asts, 2blks, and 2stls.

It was our first look at Hurd, he plays well off two feet when he’s in the paint area, whether he’s driving or slicing, he had good strength, and balance going up. He handles well enough to split defenders, and get into the paint, he had good passing into the post, and along the perimeter. He has good awareness on the defensive side of the ball. 12pts.
Jacob French
Jacob French
He’s a good ball handling guard who did a good job of running the teams offensive sets. He has good court vision, and will make strong passes. He used his body on strong drives to the basket. He had a few hard dribble spin moves to get into the paint, he’ll finish and doesn’t mind the contact. 12pts, 5rebs.
Balogun produced 26pts and 25 rebounds in this game. He took advantage of the other teams lack of height, nonetheless, the 6’6 2025 has a solid body, and is active going after rebounds, and points in the paint. He has a paint jumper, and a strong one or two dribble drive to get closer to the rim. He gets to the free throw line often.
He’s a crafty guard with a good set of handles, and moves to get his shot off. he can run point, he can get into the paint for kick-outs, or finish in different ways to keep bigs off balance including a little fade away paint jumper, and a spin with balance. He hit three -3ptrs with range. 16pts.
He didn’t stuff the stat sheet in this game, but he did have a good all-around game. He’s a 6’3 versatile player that can handle, and create shots for himself and others. He has good vision and passing. He can finish strong around the rim. He has good speed and strength to defend multiple positions, and help on the boards. 6pts 4rebs, 3asts, 3blks, 3stls.

At 6’5 he’s stronger than he looks. He has a good skill set to get points on the perimeter, or working in the post. He has good balance, and plays well off two feet, taking it up strong in the paint. He has a good touch. He did some handling up top initiating the offense at times. He handles in half-court with good passing, he can hit the 3ptr. He had 13pts, 4rebs.
