He is able to shoot from deep, consistently as well as cut through the lanes and attack the basket for easy lay-up’s and short jumpers. Lewallen has no problem scoring but what stands out more than his scoring ability is his court vision; he can find his open teammates and knows how to draw in the defense and kick out to his open shooters. Greyson plays defense very aggressively and his quickness allows him to cut off his opponents and cut off passing lanes.
Michael Doctor Michael Doctor 6'2" | CG Victory Christian | 2024 State OK 2024 – Victory Christian: Michael is a high level/high motor guard that uses his athleticism on both ends of the court. He knows his athleticism gives him an edge over his competition and he uses that to his advantage by getting down the court quicker than most for fast break baskets and out rebounds many of the taller players on the floor. Michael is shifty and quick which makes him a hard guard to defend – his change of pace and misdirection allows him to get to the basket and create speration from his defender – which gives him a little extra time to get his shot off. Defensively, Doctor moves extremely well laterally and deliberately turns the ball handler causing many turnovers. Michael finished the game with 22 points.
Jyson Kim Jyson Kim 6'4" | SG Cascia Hall Preparatory School | 2025 State OK 2025 – Cascia Hall: Jyson had a solid showing in game one of the Skiatook Tournament. He pushed the ball up the floor well and found the gaps in the defense; when the defense played off of him, he shot the ball from deep and garnered many of his points from beyond the arc. He is attacking the basket more aggressively and getting to the line more often. Kim had a nice steal in the open court and finished the play by getting to the rim and earning an “and 1”. On defense, Jyson uses his length to his advantage and once he gets the ball handler in the corners and gets the offense to pick up the ball, it is hard to get many passes off. Jyson finished game one with 15 points.
Trevor Mathews 2025 – Skiatook: Trevor is the hardest working player that I watched on day one of the Skiatook Tournament. He does not allow his 5’6″ frame to hinder his production on the court. He gets to the basket, surprisingly fast by manuevering around his defender and keeping his opponents behind him. Trevor gets the ball up the court and makes solid passes to his teammates and doesn’t kill the offense by picking up the ball when there is tremendous pressure on him; he is patient and composed. He never stops moving on offense and he is fearless when going in for the rebound against his taller opponents. Defensively, Mathews caused a handful of turnovers by timing the run through and getting the ball to his runners.
