Below is a review of five prospects from southeastern Pennsylvania who played outstanding hoops during Week 9 of the 2022-23 high school basketball season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1279647' first='Sultan' last='Adewale'] – 6'9″ / Senior / Neumann-Goretti / Team Rio University / Small Forward: How the most effective 2023 interior prospects in the region remains uncommitted is a mystery to us. Adewale has even started sprinkling in the occasional 3-ball this season. Over his last 4 games Adewale is averaging 18 points and 11 rebounds per night. This past week Adewale posted 24 points and 16 rebs in a win over Father Judge and then 21 points (2 threes) and 10 boards in NG's defeat of St. Joe's Prep.

[player_tooltip player_id='1197611' first='KJ' last='Cochran'] – 6'3” / Sophomore / West Chester East / K Low Elite / Combo Guard: In 2021-22 Cochran was a freshman starter who averaged 18 ppg. and was a 1st Team All Ches-Mont selection. His sophomore campaign is shaping up to be even more impressive. Cochran is known as a three-level scorer with a smooth floater game. However he quietly also excels at distributing the ball, especially via drive and kicks. In his last two games, this creative guard has registered 21 points vs. Coatesville (15 in 2nd half) and 29 points against Avon Grove. Both were wins for WC-East. Cochran holds offers from Saint Joe's and Northern Illinois.

[player_tooltip player_id='1202023' first='Augustus' last='Gerhart'] – 6'9” / Senior / Hill School / [program_tooltip program_id='2078697' first='Philly' last='Pride'] National / Power Forward: Gerhart (Penn commit) has the size, athleticism, footwork and shooting stroke to play a stretch-4 style of ball. As a bonus, he can score in the post or hit the offensive glass for second chance points. Last week all his skills were on full display as Gerhart poured in 24 points and grabbed 7 boards against Lawrenceville Prep (NJ). Next, Gerhart assembled an impressive 25 points and 11 rebounds double-double vs. Hun (NJ). Hill was victorious in both of those MAPS contests.

[player_tooltip player_id='1190330' first='Pearse' last='McGuinn'] – 6'7” / Junior / Cardinal O'Hara / [program_tooltip program_id='2078682' first='K-Low' last='Elite'] / Shooting Guard: McGuinn's newly developed interior bag of tricks continues to impress us. He has truly gained a solid feel for playing in the paint. When you combine that asset with his high percentage 3-point shooting, you get an extremely attractive forward/guard prospect. Included in his stellar play this past week was 28 points (3 triples), 10 rebounds and 3 blocks performance vs. Monsignor Bonner and then 16 points (2 threes) and 3 blocks vs. West Catholic.

[player_tooltip player_id='1271440' first='Ben' last='Rill'] – 6'8″ / Sophomore / Central York / York Ballers / Power Forward: This high basketball IQ big man averaged 25 ppg. during a three-game stretch last week. His triple threat offensive game (height, speed and shooting touch) is a real matchup problem for York area opponents. That was obvious when Rill notched a season high 38 points in CY's defeat of Southwestern. In addition to supplying points, Rill is willing to do the dirty work that produces wins. The upside on this prospect is ridiculous.
