A quick 5-9 off-ball guard who showed the ability to score both off the catch and the dribble, Axsom scored a team-high 14 points on 4-8 shooting (2-4 3P, 4-6 FT) in the Comets’ loss to Northeast. He’s an active defender off the ball who jumps passing lanes and can turn defense into offense in a hurry.
Carson Lambert (Monticello)
Lambert is a long, lanky lefty wing who can impact the game in a number of ways for the Panthers. He had 10 points on 4-9 shooting, 8 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals in their win over Regina on Saturday afternoon. At 6-3, he uses his length effectively on the defensive end, getting into passing lanes. He’s a high IQ player who sees the floor well and he rebounds really well on both ends.
Tyson Seeser (Camanche)
Seeser is an intriguing young prospect, a long, bouncy 6-5 wing who can get to the bucket or create players for others on the offensive end, and defend multiple positions on the defensive side. He had 6 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 block in the Storm’s narrow loss to Mid-Prairie.
Justin Weispfenning (Northeast)
Weispfenning is a lot of fun to watch for the Rebels, a little 5-9 jitterbug who comes off the bench to provide a spark as a playmaking guard who uses his quickness to put pressure on opposing defenses. He didn’t score in the Rebels win over West Liberty, but he dished out 5 assists against just 1 turnover.
2026 Cameron Casel (Bellevue)
A 5-10 point guard with great handles and court vision, Casel loves to get his teammates involved and he does so at an incredibly high level. He dished out 6 assists and had 3 steals in the Comets win over West Branch.
2026 Tristan Faille (Anamosa)
A 6-4 freshman wing who can really shoot it, Faille had 12 points in the Blue Raiders loss to Tipton, showing the ability to shoot it at a high level off the catch with a quick release and plenty of range. He moves well without the ball and has his feet squared on the catch and ready to fire.
