I categorized the players that caught my attention into three all-tourney teams. Here’s part 2.
Third Team All-Tournament:
2023 Gaston Dillon 5’9 PG, Chief Leschi HS:
Gaston’s on-ball defense stood out to me. He got into the ball and made it tough on the ball-handler. He forced his guy into at least two turnovers just throwing the ball out of bounds trying to get rid of the ball. Offensively, he has a quick first step and changes speeds well. Defenders had a hard time keeping him from getting to the rim.
2023 Seth Meister 6’1 SG, Adna HS:
Seth caught my attention today. He shot it well in spot-up situations– four 3s in the first half. He also showed his ability to read closeouts and get to the middy pull-up.
2024
Tucker Dunseth

6’3 SG, Union HS:
I liked Tucker’s game. He wasn’t a major part of the offense, but he played hard and did everything right. He is a spot-up threat from deep and showed that he can make open shots. He looked like he had more to his game than he showed, too. A shooter to keep an eye on in the ’24 class for sure.
2023 Tanner Brewer 6’4 PF, Tumwater HS:
Tanner was fun to watch. He was the anchor defensively for Tumwater. He is a big-time communicator on the court which I love. You can always hear his voice whether it be on defense or picking up a teammate. Although Tanner is undersized for a PF, he rebounds well. He sets solid screens to get his guards open, and he’s a scoring threat from the dunker spot. He showed a nice floater after receiving a dump-off from the driving guard.
2023 Fred Lewis 6’0 SG, Chief Leschi HS:
Fred has a smooth game and moves at his own pace. He never seemed to be in a hurry out there and he got to his spots. He showed the ability to create for himself, and the ability to create for others as well.
Honorable Mention:
2023

6’3 CG, Kelso HS:
Ethan is one of the best passers I’ve seen in this class. He sees things before they happen. His teammates have to always be ready because he likes no-look dimes. He has a smooth handle and likes to get to the rim.
2024 Thomas Dillon 5’10 PG, Chief Leschi HS:
Dillon is a stocky, lefty guard with a shifty handle. His defender was off-balance all game. He did a good job of getting downhill and getting paint touches. While in the paint, Dillon did a good job of deciding when to score and when to pass.
2024 Mike Henderson 5’7 PG, Kelso HS:
I was impressed with Mike. He plays with such confidence and fearlessness despite being one of the smallest guys on the floor. He isn’t much of a shooter, but he can hit the open shot. He did a good job of getting downhill and finding his teammates.
