SANTA ANA - The annual Nike Extravaganza at Mater Dei high school is one of the premier venues to get a look at top teams and talent both locally and from out of state. Saturday's slate of 11 games featured teams from Southern California, Northern California, Nevada, Virginia and Arizona with multiple Division 1 commits and prospects taking the floor. In this piece we take a closer look at the Third Five performers from Saturday's games.

[player_tooltip player_id='994973' first='Devin' last='Williams'], Corona Centennial

Williams had a field day in front of his future coaches Mick Cronin and Darren Savino as the dribble penetration from guards [player_tooltip player_id='992476' first='Mike' last='Price'] and [player_tooltip player_id='992480' first='Jared' last='McCain'] opened up easy dunk opportunities for the 6-foot-10 UCLA-bound forward/center. The senior scored 18 points on 7-for-9 from the field as Centennial easily dispatched Liberty of Nevada, 90-64. Williams got to show off his mobility and ability to catch, elevate quickly, and finish with power at the rim.

Jackson Gray, Capistrano Valley

Gray is one of the most under-the-radar seniors in Southern California and his shooting ability should land him some opportunities to play at the next level. The 6-foot-3 shooting guard has a pure shooting stroke off the catch and scored 19 points on 7-for-14 shooting and 4-for-8 from three-point range as Capistrano Valley picked up a 57-53 win over Oak Hills of Hesperia.

LoLo Rudolph, St. Augustine

Rudolph is the lone member of our All-Nike Extravaganza teams to have come away on the losing end but it wasn't for a lack of effort or production from the junior point guard out of San Diego. Rudolph played all 32 minutes of St. Augustine's 84-72 loss to Sherman Oaks Notre Dame and put up an impressive stat line of 17 points, six rebounds and four assists on 7-for-11 from the field. We think Rudolph is already under-recruited as it is and is primed to make a big leap on recruiting boards heading into the spring and summer.

[player_tooltip player_id='1502821' first='Scotty' last='Belnap'], Mater Dei

Belnap has stepped back into a starter's role with the departure of freshman Che Brogan from Mater Dei's roster and he made the most of it Saturday. The 6-foot-5 junior wing came out of the gates on fire as he scored 15 of his 17 points in a first quarter that saw the Monarchs swiftly take control of the game against St. Mary's of Arizona. Mater Dei broke the game wide open in the second quarter and Belnap spent most of the second half taking in the game from the bench but he did score 17 points in 18 minutes of action on 7-for-8 from the field.

[player_tooltip player_id='1502769' first='Trent' last='Perry'], Harvard-Westlake

Perry was another player who didn't have his best scoring night but impacted the game in other ways. The 6-foot-3 junior finished with just four points but pulled down 10 rebounds and dished out nine assists as Harvard-Westlake handled De La Salle easily with a 63-42 decision. Perry knew it wasn't his night on the offensive end of the floor so he shifted into a complimentary role where he set up teammates and used his size and athleticism to make an impact on the defensive glass.
