Taking a look at the Top schools in the Mountain West. Teams that did not make the cut Central (WY) not a good enough resume or visibility to have a true feel for how hey would fair against this group of 25. Olympus (UT) has been surging but the field is deep. Could argue for them. Fergus (MT) does not play anyone outside of the state no true measuring stick. RSL Academy (UT) with their injury to their top guard they will have trouble although they are stacked. Lapiwai (ID) They haven't played anyone. They need to be in Section 7 next year or leave the state and play in California or Nevada. It will help their recruiting.

#1 AZ Compass (AZ)

Mookie Cook, Zayden High and [player_tooltip player_id='1489600' first='Jordan' last='Ross'] are really clocking and playing at a high level. This one is a no brainer. They play anywhere against anyone at any time.

#2 Perry (AZ)

Impressive play with only one loss this season that they probably do not lose again even if they played 10 times again. Ben Egbo is a really good big guard. Koa Peat is one of the best in the country regardless of class. Good luck stopping him.

#3 Wasatch Academy (UT)

Team has a loaded roster. with [player_tooltip player_id='1532645' first='Jeremiah' last='Johnson'] playing at a high level again. [player_tooltip player_id='1489614' first='RJ' last='Jones'] is as good a SG as there are in the country. [player_tooltip player_id='1532642' first='Osiris' last='Grady'] is big time down in the post and so is CBO Newton. NIBC team with a lot of talent.

#4 Liberty (NV)

Gelo Kambala is one of the smoothest PG's out West and he is heading to Southern Utah. DJ Thomas in the backcourt with him makes a stellar combo.

#5 Bishop Gorman (NV)

One of the traditional powers is always in the mix. John Mobley Jr. and Jase Richards also make for a tough backcourt. Two dynamic guards. Keanan Bey and Eli Bradly really make this team a tough team to play with.

#6 Lake City (ID)

The big fella [player_tooltip player_id='923077' first='Blake' last='Buchanan'] that is headed to Virginia is on another level. [player_tooltip player_id='923086' first='Kolton' last='Mitchell'] is a steal over at Idaho State.

#7 Corner Canyon (UT)

[player_tooltip player_id='934040' first='Max' last='Toombs'] is playing out of his mind. [player_tooltip player_id='1056969' first='Brody' last='Kozlowski']'s national stock continues to rise and not they have a D1PG in [player_tooltip player_id='969631' first='Jaxson' last='Roberts'] who was just offered by Cal Poly. This team wrecked everyone in AZ and they just always play anyone. Lost to Owyhee without their best player.

#8 Accelerated Prep (CO)

Baye Fall is a game changer and no matter what team he is on he will make them good.

#9 Coronado (NV)

Sebastian Mack heading to UCLA is a dude!. Coronado can hang with anyone. Josiah Cunningham provides some solid shooting out in the perimeter.

#10 Hillcrest (ID)

[player_tooltip player_id='1568018' first='Isaac' last='Davis'] is really good. If he was playing in a big city he would be going viral everywhere with how many people he has put on a poster this year.

#11 Dream City Christian (AZ)

David Tubek heading to Memphis is a stud. Christian Hammond is heading to Santa Clara and he runs that show very well.

#12 Owyhee (ID)

[player_tooltip player_id='1568017' first='Liam' last='Campbell'] is really good but they get great play from everyone else like [player_tooltip player_id='1108098' first='Titus' last='Bailey'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1716581' first='Jackson' last='Rasmussen']. This team is super tough.

#13 Cyprus (UT)

One of the best PG with an unreal motor out there in Utah is [player_tooltip player_id='934030' first='Quentin' last='Meza']. This team can shoot lights out.

#14 Hillcrest Prep (AZ)

Jason Asemota is an early commit over at Baylor and Aiden Sherelle has been a great transfer that came over from Utah. He has been rising

#15 American Fork (UT)

This team has a lot of size with [player_tooltip player_id='1538434' first='Blake' last='Rawson'], [player_tooltip player_id='934024' first='Aaron' last='Dunne'], [player_tooltip player_id='1046138' first='Kean' last='Webb']. They have good guards in [player_tooltip player_id='1057050' first='Tiger' last='Cuff'] and [player_tooltip player_id='969235' first='Ashton' last='Wallace']. They beat Sunrise Christian earlier this year.

#16 Durango (NV)

Tylen Riley is one of the best CG's in the state of Nevada. Taj DeGourville has some great size for a SG.

#17 Fossil Ridge (CO)

Nick Randall is a tough player to guard at 6'7. FR has posted some good wins against some of the best teams in the state.

#18 Iornwood (AZ)

Very well coached team that has played some good teams all year and out of state as well. One of those teams that plays fundamental on both ends of the floor.

#19 Colorado Prep (CO)

Baye Nudongo is a man out there. He is headed to Rutgers which is going to be a good spot for him to develop as a 4 or 5 at the next level. Colorado Prep is always deep.

#20 Alta (UT)

Alta has emerged as a sleeping GIANT as they are getting great play from [player_tooltip player_id='1298532' first='Jaxon' last='Johnson'] who has an offer from Utah State and Stanford. [player_tooltip player_id='1057035' first='Ace' last='Reiser'] has been really good and is a D1 PG.

#21 Desert Pines (NV)

Isiaac Boykins is a good little guard that can shoot and handle a bit. Curtis Coleman is a good young hooper coming up.

#22 ABC Prep (NM)

Best program in the state that is producing and developing talent. [player_tooltip player_id='1266744' first='Michael' last='Day'] the transfer from Idaho has been really good. Dylan Chavez is a really good shooting guard for them as well.

#23 Brophy Prep (AZ)

Brophy Prep has some big bodies and they love to play physical. If you are not ready for that they will run over you.

#24 Rock Canyon (CO)

Solid team that plays the right way Gavin Hershberger is a solid and steady PG.

#25 Pocatello (ID)

Barley made the list but here they are and Boise State Commit is playing out of his mind and that is [player_tooltip player_id='1378464' first='Julian' last='Bowie'].
