These are some guards who are making progress every day and will continue to get better. I would put these players on my list and sit back and enjoy the progress. You might think I have these players on repeat. That is because I am trying to say something that shouldn’t go unnoticed. These aren’t feel good players or articles. These are winners that get after it for 32 minutes. That is something every real basketball fan appreciates. They put in the time in the off-season. They produce buckets. They are fun to watch. They can all shoot it.
Here is a 6’4 guard prospect who can do a lot of things at a high level. He is an elite shooter. He covers a lot of ground and can get to the rack and finish with highlight dunks. He is an all level scorer with size and length. Perhaps even more impressive is the way he plays defense. He takes pride in his defense and he does it well. He is a lock down defender who moves his feet extremely well for his size. I can’t emphasize the talent and upside here enough. He is a prospect that should be getting attention at all levels.

I don’t know what his future holds. He was a highly touted prospect as a WR in football. I can’t write an article about defense without including him. This kid loves to play defense and is a lockdown defender. He is a player who can shoot the three at an elite level and is one of the most hard-nosed players I have seen this season. I would say if he were to choose hoops at the next level, he would do well as a player whose intensity is tough to match.
I feel a common theme here. Another 6’4 guard with a huge upside. A player you want on the floor for 32 minutes. I already mentioned him in my high-ceiling article a while back. I am mentioning him again because he should not go unnoticed. He scores at an elite level. The defense is what should be the final factor when marking him as a can’t miss prospect. He is also an elite level shooter-one of the best in the state.
Here is another 6’4 guard with size and length that takes pride in defense. The way he moves his feet is something to watch. He has helped Lincoln to a league championship this season. He is capable of doing big things. Only a sophomore. His upside is huge. He is getting around 12 points a game but the upside comes from the intangibles.

He is a shooter first and foremost which makes him a great fit for can’t miss. He is also tough and plays defense at a high level. I think he is running under the radar a little. He is a guard who can score in bunches, has a high basketball IQ, and makes the right plays He is strong and can get to the rim. I’d play him for 32 minutes and sit back and enjoy his results.
