He's a flat out competitor. He comes into every game with an intensity and sense of professionalism that you rarely see at the high school level. When Nick is playing it's strictly business, and against a Totino-Grace team loaded with talent he went off for 34 points on 13-18 shooting. And these weren't just wide open jumpers, Nick was creating space off of limited dribbles, while mixing in shot fakes and covering a bunch of ground with each stride to get into his shots. Totino-Grace threw a variety of long and athletic defenders on him, and none of them could stop him from getting to his spots.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":["not_in_db"],"_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_player_details_selected_featured_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_selected_featured_image":"field_62cca28ffa4e7","player_evaluations_1_player_details_player_name":"Walter Berns","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_player_name":"field_62aba4c9ecf2f","player_evaluations_1_player_details_graduating_class":"2024","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_graduating_class":"field_62aba4ddecf30","player_evaluations_1_player_details_height":"6'4u0022","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_height":"field_62aba4e8ecf31","player_evaluations_1_player_details_position":"77247","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_position":"field_62aba4f0ecf32","player_evaluations_1_player_details_school":"Aquinas","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_school":"field_62aba4fdecf33","player_evaluations_1_player_details_club_team":"","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_club_team":"field_62d20e723441a","player_evaluations_1_player_details":"","_player_evaluations_1_player_details":"field_62aba4afecf2e","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"Walter Berns is having a breakout season for Aquinas, and although his team was a bit shorthanded and came up short against a red hot Lake City team, he showed a lot as a prospect. At 6'4 he has impressive mobility and all-around athleticism that makes him a difficult matchup. Opposing wings and forwards had a hard time moving their feet with him as he was slashing his way to the basket. Could get all the way to the rim and power up, but also showcased a soft floater that he was knocking down with ease from some difficult angles. When the defense started to collapse on him harder he was able to adjust and find open teammates on the perimeter.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["1447229"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"Will was taking full advantage of his size down low in a win over a young but talented Benilde-St. Margaret's team. The 6'10 big man knows who he is as a player, and sticks to his strengths. Garlock was looking to establish good low-post position and was providing a big target making it easy for his teammates to feed him the ball. Once he caught on the block he was looking to make a quick turn over his left shoulder to finish with the right hand, but he also showed patience at times to utilize a variety of pivots to maneuver his way to the basket. Showed some good mobility at his size getting up and down the floor as well. Finished with 21 points on 10 makes from the field and also pulled in 8 rebounds.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["953944"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"The types of shots Milan makes you don't often see at the high school level. He came out with the first eight points of the game knocking down a pair of threes as well as bullying his way to the rim for a finish inside. When he caught with his back to the basket he showcased his automatic turnaround jumper with a Nowitzki-like leg kick that had the whole audience impressed. On the defensive end he was holding his ground against an athletic 6'9 post, but also moved his feet against smaller forwards when he was out of the game. Plays with poise every second he's on the floor. Milan finished with 33 points and 7 rebounds in the win.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":["not_in_db"],"_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_player_details_selected_featured_image":"","_player_evaluations_4_player_details_selected_featured_image":"field_62cca28ffa4e7","player_evaluations_4_player_details_player_name":"[player_tooltip player_id='1702897' first='Henry' last='Meyer']","_player_evaluations_4_player_details_player_name":"field_62aba4c9ecf2f","player_evaluations_4_player_details_graduating_class":"2024","_player_evaluations_4_player_details_graduating_class":"field_62aba4ddecf30","player_evaluations_4_player_details_height":"6'3u0022","_player_evaluations_4_player_details_height":"field_62aba4e8ecf31","player_evaluations_4_player_details_position":"77248","_player_evaluations_4_player_details_position":"field_62aba4f0ecf32","player_evaluations_4_player_details_school":"La Crosse Central","_player_evaluations_4_player_details_school":"field_62aba4fdecf33","player_evaluations_4_player_details_club_team":"","_player_evaluations_4_player_details_club_team":"field_62d20e723441a","player_evaluations_4_player_details":"","_player_evaluations_4_player_details":"field_62aba4afecf2e","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"Henry is having a breakout season making up for a lot of the production Central lost to graduation from last season's state tournament team. Against a tough Mahtomedi team he scored a team high 21 and he did so in a variety of ways. He started off getting to the rim with a couple of straight line drives before powering up off two feet. Mixed in a mid-range jumper, a short fadeaway in the lane, and a catch-and-shoot three. At 6'3 he has a strong frame and a tight handle that allows him to play with finesse or power. Did a great job of drawing contact and that saw him shoot a perfect 8-8 from the free throw line.","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_5_player":["1141638"],"_player_evaluations_5_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_5_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_5_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_5_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_5_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_5_evaluation":"The last game of the day was a low scoring grinder, and I feel like that type of game favors this big and physical Middleton team. Hurley was one of the few players on either team finding success scoring the ball, and he did so with some strong finishes off two feet. He wasn't forcing his game and wasn't doing anything too flashy, instead he simply took what the defense gave him. His ability to get to the basket also helped him get to the foul line for easy points. Defensively he used his size to get up and passing lanes for 4 steals while also pulling in 10 rebounds.","_player_evaluations_5_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_6_player":["1544787"],"_player_evaluations_6_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_6_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_6_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_6_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_6_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_6_evaluation":"The smallest player in Totino-Grace's starting lineup was 6'4. That didn't stop the 5'8 Osterman from making a big impact. With Janowski and Momcilovic putting up big numbers, Osterman kept the opposing defense honest with his ability to knock down open shots. He was keeping the floor stretched with three makes from beyond the arc, keeping the space open for Pewaukee's high scoring duo. On the defensive end he's tenacious using his quickness to get right up on opposing guards and pressure the ball. High effort player. Finished with 13 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals.","_player_evaluations_6_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":7,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-63cf08e34f9b5"} /-->
