We vividly remember last year's Battle at the Border up at Landrum HS that we had the chance to attend. With it being one of the more memorable midseason tournaments that Prep Girls Hoops was at, a return trip was definitely in order.

A return trip was also in order given the improvements that were made. Along with the addition of a 35-second shot clock, there has also been a new court installed at the home venue of the Cardinals.

With so many premier performances occurring among the boys teams that took part in this year's Battle at the Border, it was difficult to narrow down the list to a mere five. Paladugu was a primary driving force behind Shannon Forest getting into the win column as he led his team with a 22-point performance. Paladugu impressed as one who can put the ball through the hoop from virtually anywhere on the floor – including from deep. He is also ferocious as a rim attacker and is one that many a defense has to game plan how to contain. Rebounding and making accurate passes are two other strong areas for 6-foot-3 guard.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-63ad70dd806a5"} /-->
