Nolan Paladugu
About Nolan
Expert Analysis
Bret Swanson | Prep Hoops Scout
Nolan had a solid senior season before falling in the SCISA State Tourney to Hilton Head Christian in the SCISA Class 3A Final 4. Paladugu has decided on attending University of South Carolina-Beaufort next season. The Sand Sharks will play in the Peach Belt Conference as a NCAA D2 program. Nolan brings good leadership skills to the floor and a willingness to win and compete. He’s a great team player and even stronger younger man in the classroom.

Green was very mean at Landrum HS on Wednesday afternoon as Paladugu’s Crusaders cruised to a 73-47 victory over the Wolverines of 3A Woodruff. Paladugu was a primary driving force behind Shannon Forest getting into the win column as he led his team with a 22-point performance. Paladugu impressed as one who can put the ball through the hoop from virtually anywhere on the floor – including from deep. He is also ferocious as a rim attacker and is one that many a defense has to game plan how to contain. Rebounding and making accurate passes are two other strong areas for 6-foot-3 guard.

Nolan has really gotten off to a fast start for the Crusaders after winning the Impact Sports Invitational to start the season. Paladugu is like having a coach on the floor. Nolan plays the game with good court awareness and savvy. He makes crafty plays for his teammates and himself. He really strives high in the classroom with his academics. Can the Crusaders make a run this season in the SCISA ranks?

Nolan won’t overwhelm you with anything he does on the floor. He makes the right pass, works on both ends of the floor and plays with his game at all times.
Nolan has an old-school type of game to him. Great academically in the classroom.
