Lawrence Central pushes past Attucks

The Lawrence Central Bears picked up a good win last night over Crispus Attucks 60-56. With [player_tooltip player_id='1379216' first='Kamari' last='Jones'] no longer on Lawrence North, players needed to step up for the Bears and that is exactly what 2023 SG [player_tooltip player_id='1273741' first='DaJohn' last='Craig'] did with his 29 pts and 7 rbs last night. On the Crispus Attucks side, the Tigers were lead by [player_tooltip player_id='1297004' first='Chris' last='Hurt'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1275771' first='Ron' last='Rutland III'] with 13 pts while 2025 C [player_tooltip player_id='1297019' first='Dezmon' last='Briscoe'] added 12 pts. After Losing three straight, this was a big win for Lawrence Central to get back on the winning side but will have a much tougher game coming up with Pike on 12/16.

Michigan City over Mishawaka

The Michigan City Wolves moved to 4-1 on the year with a solid road win over the 3-2 Mishawaka Cavemen 67-49. Michigan City saw two players go off last night with Jamie Hodges dropping 25 pts and [player_tooltip player_id='1457552' first='Allen' last='Briggs'] with 20 pts. On the Mishawaka side, Brady Fisher lead the Cavemen with a 14 point, 13 rebound double-double. At the 4A level, Michigan City has been a sneaky good team in the northern Indiana area and is one to keep a close eye on as the season progresses.
