Defensively, Dunn provided tough on-ball pressure and forced a lot of turnovers. His effort and energy were on display all game. On the offensive end, Dunn finished with an efficient 12 points and got to the free throw line a lot. He’s a good decision-maker, doesn’t turn the ball over, and has a good feel for when to attack versus when to slow things down. After receiving an offer from Auburn-Montgomery in July, Dunn’s recruitment could really pick up in the spring.
Jase McCullough Jase McCullough 6’2″ | CG Pebblebrook | 2023 State GA got hot on Saturday and led Pebblebrook to a runaway win over Tri-Cities. He finished the game with 27 points, coming on 7 made threes. When McCullough gets going like that, he’s hard to slow down because of his deep range and quick trigger. He’s also a strong ball-handler and and has a nice frame for a college guard. Jaiun Simon Jaiun Simon 6’7″ | SF Pebblebrook | 2023 State #220 Nation GA is Pebblebrook’s go-to guy but McCullough proved that he can step up and score at a high level when Simon is having an off night.
CJ Brown CJ Brown 6’2″ | PG Kell | 2024 State #150 Nation GA had a solid outing and led Kell to a huge early-season win over McEachern, despite not having Peyton Marshall Peyton Marshall 7’0″ | C Overtime Elite | 2024 State GA . Brown has a really good feel for the game and when to assert himself. In the first half, Brown was feeding his hot-handed shooters but became more aggressive in the second half. He finished the game with 18 points to lead Kell, 12 in the second half. Brown’s explosiveness was also on display and he threw down a couple of high-flying dunks. Everything about CJ Brown CJ Brown 6’2″ | PG Kell | 2024 State #150 Nation GA screams high-major and his recruitment will be very fun to watch in coming months.
Gicarri Harris Gicarri Harris 6’4″ | CG Grayson | 2024 State #86 Nation GA looked good on Saturday and played a huge part in Grayson’s 64-60 win over Alexander. CJ Hyland CJ Hyland 6’0″ | PG Grayson | 2024 State GA went down in the first half with a minor shoulder injury but Harris stepped up and made up for Hyland’s missing points. Devin Hutcherson
Devin Hutcherson
While he’s only a freshman, Devin Hutcherson plays like he’s much older. He’s great on both ends of the floor and plays with a high-motor. Coming into the game, I knew what Hutcherson could do offensively but his defense really stood out. He played Tylis Jordan Tylis Jordan 6’9″ | SF Shiloh | 2025 State #79 Nation GA tough in the first half and showed the ability to guard multiple positions. Hutcherson also knocked down some tough shots and finished with 12 points. At this point, Hutcherson has to be considered one of the top freshman in the state.
