Justin Courneya Justin Courneya 6'1" | PG Win-E-Mac | 2024 State MN of Win-E-Mac (jr guard). Justin does everything he can to keep his team within games and this weekend he scored 33 points against a really good Fertile-Beltrami team before the favorites pulled away. It was Justin’s second 33 point game of the season!
Zander Jacobson Zander Jacobson 6'6" | PF Minnesota Valley Lutheran | 2024 State MN of Hayfield (jr post). The Hayfield 6’4/6’5 big went to Medford and scored ten times for 20 points and then topped his 20 points by grabbing 23 rebounds! In one game. And he did that for the number one ranked Class A team.
Boden Kapke Boden Kapke 6'11" | C Holy Family | 2023 State #153 Nation MN of Holy Family (sr big). The Butler committed post was unstoppable scoring 37 points with 15 rebounds in a 25 point win. We discussed it more Sunday in our game story.
Hayden Niebuhr Hayden Niebuhr 6'7" | C Maple River | 2023 State MN of Maple River (sr big). The 6’7 big man from Maple River put up 26 points with 13 rebounds while limiting Rolyns Aligbe Rolyns Aligbe 6'9" | C Minnehaha Academy | 2023 State MN to seven points in a big victory for the Eagles Maple River put the entire state on notice with their balanced victory of Minnehaha Academy and while doing it, Hayden has directly put his name on the radar of many.
Braeden O’Neil of Norwood Young-America (sr forward). NYA has the returning talent to be a good team and senior Braeden O’Neil is off to a really hot start scoring 36 points against HLWW in a win, and then followed that with another 25 the next day against Dover-Eyota in another win.
Anthony Smith of Hopkins (soph PG). In an 86-80 win over Farmington over the weekend, Smith made all six of his foul shots, hit seven threes, scored 33 points for his team plus dished out six assists. And all around excellent game helping his team earn an important first victory of the season.
Jerome Williams of Minnehahaa Academy (jr PG). In a loss on Saturday, Jerome Williams Jr Jerome Williams Jr 6'0" | PG Rock Creek Christian Academy | 2024 MD gave his team everything he had scoring 30 points on 9 of 19 shooting with three threes and nine foul shots made. The quick point guard also totaled six assists, five rebounds, and three steals.
Max Woods Max Woods 5'11" | PG Chanhassen | 2024 State MN of Chanhassen (jr guard). We talked about this in detail over the weekend in the Five Things to Know article but Woods hit six threes, made 10 foul shots and scored 40 points against top ranked Holy Family.
